how much gil have you saved up?

I use my gil. I toss some in the FC bank when I make a big sale for housing, but for my own use I don't save much. IMO there's no reason to, the best gear is bought with tomes with the possible exception of Vanya gear. Other than that, all I need is repairs and food.

Money is not important in this game for me. This is for two reasons, one of which is a personal preference, the other is an in-game problem. First, as of right now I have no desire to own a house therefore don't need money. Secondly, the first, second, and third (debatable based on slot) best options for gear can be obtained through tomes and Coil and therefore no need to spend money.

Usually I can make ~150-200k in a half hour or so of crafting, takes some time to sell though. In total, I've probably made at least 8 mill or so.

No, I have 8 characters on Sarg, 7 of them sitting on 100 leve points. 6 can turn in HQ Aldgoat Leather for 2100 a point. 5400 earth shards and a lot of dead goats to produce 1.2 mill gil. I will only do it if they over price housing though.

I've saved 500 thousand about 5 times now... Keep spending it on materia and crafted items, and leveling alts and working on crafts, and loaning it out...

But if I had not spent it I'd have close to 4 mil just from spirit binding and selling titans....
