That's funny because I was pretty sure it was "up until" which means a continued action that carries through to the date specified as in "ALL OF FNG SUMMER, 2011."

So if its "plans until summer 2011!" it clearly means the plans stop when summer '11 begins. Much like he stopped reading when his guest arrived.

IT DOES NOT SAY "UP UNTIL" it says "UNTIL"

put simply:
Something until event
Means that the something stops when the event occurs.
In this case the something being updates and the event being summer.

Maybe Shai's one of this game's English translators.

Would it kill the man to say this is what we have planned to be released between now and sept. 15th. Why does everything have to be so cryptic.

I have a year long plan, but let me show you my plan up until summer.

That includes summer. As I said, it could be worded better to lessen confusion.

I don't know why anyone would say it like this when there's better ways to express "now through [a time period]"
