Me and my bf both play on PS3 and we've made it to T4 with our FC :). No problems or complaints whatsoever except for the occasional slip up from someone not dodging fast enough or forgetting to pass Rot xD. VOIP is not really needed if you know what to do.. it does help with faster communication, but you can do just fine without it. The only problem PS3 has is the load time for cutscenes, it doesn't make anyone a bad player ^^.
