Remember that FFXI had been out for a long time before we got it in the US- At the japanese launch, FFXI had even less content than FFXIV does now. -

Sure bro ;but coil 5 is still bugged ;) without those bugs do u really think that good players wont already cleared it with less than one week after they cleared turn 4 ; and coil lock out is the worst thing I very ever saw in sub mmo ; does the fact that players with a lot time to spend earning full af2 in less than one month will disturb u and change ur life ? Because its due to their Hardworking that casual players have all free guide without moving a finger and manage to clear HL content , right ?
In my point of view I d rather play with highly experienced player to help us when we had bad times than full clueless casual player and take decade to clear new dungeons.... also even if players are fully geared they can also spend their time to find new way to clear any dungeons /fully helping all of their FC mates /perfect their gameplay and farming all dugeons for nothing but fun and for spending their free time like they WANT , and make the game better for everyone ....
on all games i ve played , i was always in the top tiers players , and even if we cleared everything in less than one month , we had never experienced boredom just after it, but just finding more ways to have fun with our pals and had a lot of fun for several MONTH And YEARS ... because when we play a game and invest a lot of time on it, it's because we LOVE it and want it to be BETTER for EVERYONE .
the principal cause of BOREDOM , is ROUTINE and LIMITATIONS .....
because limitation just keep u away from exciting stuff and hard dungeons .... seriously , good fc clear coil 1> 4 in less than one our , don't tell them to pay 15 bucks per month just for 40 min of game content, and some ppl already have full hq 70 gears, full handicraft job at 50 and more than one class 50 ..... and they all are bored because of these limitations .if they want to make 100 BcOB 1 =>4 , per week , it's their life no ? don't be self centered and think for urself ...
