I might be missing something here, but I wouldn't call 3k every 30 mins - 6k every hour a fantastic source of gil at all. Even if you can miraculously clear AK in 10 mins thats 18k an hour, still not great. You'd be much better off crafting. I mean it's a lovely bonus and I'm not complaining because now I can guaranteed afford my repair bills after every run, but it's not really game breaking. It does seem like it's raining gil though when it drops from every mob! :D

Yay, even less incentive from SE to do any crafting or gathering. Now you get handed millions for nothing.

It's not millions for nothing, the money you are getting is enough to cover the cost of repairs, and maybe a few teleports here and there which is VERY NICE change of pace. Now you can easily do dungeons without having to worry too much about repair cost. You can use the extra money to buy food to boost your abilities. You can teleport around a few times a day knowing that it will not zap your gil too much. And you can set hp in starter cities since its cheaper to use boat and airship now.

3k per dungeon = Millions? Hardly lol. You guys are over-reacting by the time you get 12k doing multiple runs you will end up spending 3k+ in repairs. No one would mindlessly farm AK for gil....there isn't much profit in it.

the dungeon money drop is really not to make lot of money
it's to cover "expenses" for running said dungeons + transportation
