Ishgard.....when??

I would really like to see the moderator answer on Ishgard. When is it coming?

its already said that ishgard and related content will show up "after" the battle system has been reworked. Mind you the definition of After is rather nebulous at this point.

Most MMOs I've played didn't have every city that's in it's history or lore implemented from day 1.

They also explained again it will be released with battle content. Hell there's already guildleves that start in Ishgard.

there opening it once they add the battle system -.- like really people once they open it we going to flood that area and all the other city would be life less it better if they don't open it up just yet maybe once all the city really have a point of being there.

Wrong, there was an interview somewhere given where SE stated the zone had not even been coded yet, I believe if i am correct it is currently being worked on now, and we can expect to see something on it soon, a Dev posted somewhere that it is coming probably sometime this summer.
