Graphically - 9/10

Gameplay - 5/10

Difficulty - 3/10 (that is not including the server / game / latency / .3 refresh rate of server positioning)

Enjoyment - 2/10 (due to botting, I invested a great deal of time in my DOL and DOH and to see someone bot it is disgusting)



And finally i don't know how to categorize this but in terms of being able to farm in the game its just impossible to beat a botter

SE has some real issues with its priorities...... legacy players are not the plague in the game BOT users are......!

End game with not much variety, toxic community, no char customization, no gear customization (everyone looking the same), lvl-ing path for second class only only by grinding FATES, lacking many QoL enhancement, net-code issue, boring and shallow content.

Pro : Best graphic/theme/setting in MMO.
Con: Screw up in everything else.

mmmm I would give it a 7/10 will bump that up to a 8.5/10 if they ever get this bot thing crushed (I can deal with RMT, have been since Ultima Online)

Game is fun, and I like the over all story and lore, I do not plan to stick with it as long as I did with FFXI though, once I finish all the story stuff and get at least 2 classes to 50, I will wind down my playing a lot since I have many other games I need to be playing. It is not FFXIVs fault, it is just something I chose to do with MMORPGs in general.

Given this, I'd give the game an 8/10 and the community a 1/10 (I'm not as generous) :P

Overall a 6/10.

The game just fall short right now on so many levels. The story has been done before, and the side quest just seem to far removed from the main theme of he game. The graphics are average for a modern day game, and the combat system is lacking in originalty and in over all feel.

If square can hammer out the plaguing issues with gameplay and the servers in general, as well as put in some top notch future content the game has room to grow and become better.

"Hardware limitations", "memory limitations", and "server resources".

^ Sums it all up really.

SE's horrible .3 second delay lag attached to everything and their low-quality/underpaid network engineers who just couldn't get it right!

I'm legacy. I had plenty of fun from 1.0 onward, but... I can't see myself sticking around long-term unless some of these major issues get fixed/polished. The game has fun moments, for sure.. and I am hoping for the best. I'll give it a few more patches. I really want this to be my "next" MMO but the future's looking pretty grim at the moment.

8/10 for the the story and Just a mellow grind to 50 . Game fun. If you work for living not to bad of a pace. Gamers plow through it in a 4 or 5 day weekend.
1/10 for there customer service, worst in the business. Gave it a 1 since the one time after 9 days not playing trying to fixed my ps3 wrong account at first week launch. The lady was nice. Hope and pray that none of you ever need to use there customer service.
4/10 End game content lacking just run same dungeon over and over.
9.5/10 crafting one of the best for a mmo it fun and great system. Just wish you could make more stuff for users at endgame. Would give 10/10 for that.
10/10 music/sound effects just relaxing and top notch. World feels alive.
So final score is 8/10

Gameplay 6.5/10 - Clunky instants, GCD is too slow for non-monks, Classes are essentially the same with different flavors, melee can't hit moving targets

Sound 9/10 - Sometimes I just run around in circles on different materials because I like the clopping sounds of my shoes :p

Music 9/10 - This game has some well done and catchy music for sure! I had one of the tunes stuck in my head for weeks urgh

Visuals 8/10 - The game looks really solid as long as you don't zoom in and look too closely at some of the low definition polys

Crafting & Gathering 6/10 - I'm biased here, I'm not much of a crafter but I at least somewhat enjoy it in extreme moderation in this game

Community 2/10 - The extreme negativity surrounding this release has propagated through the community very thoroughly it seems
