go look at the whining about how hard it is to find repairs in several posts in the 2 pages of this thread
its there, i dont need to quote it

It would not have been impossible to repair no. It just would have taken time. I guess if he really wanted the wand so much he could have waited but he got annoyed and left. It was still a pointless inconvience though.
I also have loads of items sitting in my retainer i would sell but getting them all repaired would require ages of shouting in the city and cost me money. How am i supposed to make a profit if its costing me money to repair everything i want to sell?
to me trading damaged items is defferent then selling it. to me selling an item should require it to be in new condition, but if you have something that's damaged and want to toss it i see no problem with it.
that brings me to another issue. why can the repair npc only do repairs to 75%? i can understand like a basic repair to 75%, but feel the repair npc should have an advanced repair that repairs to 100% just so an item can be traded/sold.
also on repairs it is not always 10 levels below the item rank for repairs. it is supposed to be the crafting level to make the item or the item rank whichever is lowest then 10 levels below. this is not the case on all items, but i have found it pretty accurate on most.
you can easily make a profit after repairs
how much do you think repairs cost?
also, put your retainer with repairs up in the menders ward like ever other smart person does and itl get repaired rather quick
if you pay 5k for a repair, and sell an item for 50-150k depending on what it is, thats still good money
No, it's not there, plus people are complaining about how situational this whole thing is not how hard it is.
It honestly is a pointless system which ought to be done away with. I should be able to trade anything (excluding untradable items) at any time to the person who's in front of me regardless of whether my item is 99% Dur. or 100%.
Oh? hence the part you quoted form him saying "It would not have been impossible to repair no. It just would have taken time. I guess if he really wanted the wand so much he could have waited but he got annoyed and left. It was still a pointless inconvience though."
My apologies for my misunderstanding, it's kinda hard to keep track of what you are going on about, because you usually bring up the same thing over and over and over again.
thats only cuz people use the same tired arguement over and over again
and much like some people are too lazy to get repairs
im too lazy to cut out parts of quotes :)
this thread will soon devolve into an anti/pro repair thread anyway and have nothing to do with the topic
