Don't mind Eckoh, he pretty much bashes every single person that tries to offer advice, good or bad.
I still do not know why people keep saying that, "you should never macro ANYTHING, EVER! It will hurt your dps!"
You should always use macros, especially when you are learning fights, progression, etc. By taking some of the thinking out of the equation on your end, you are free to pay attention, which really is all any fight (Titan HM+) is about.
In time you can find what works best and is manageable for YOU and wean yourself off of using certain abilities in macros. Don't worry about "HERMAGERD, you are going to lose out on 10 dps if you macro in BL or ME."

The original macro setup i was running, I found to be incorrect. So i agree with you there. Macros have been updated to still use off gcd abilites when gcd is activated but the macros now correctly display gcd and procs using /macroicon "Ability name" and the GCD ability at the top priority of the macro. I'm not quite sure what you mean by person with no raid experience considering we are on turn 4 in coil, so thats not exactly precise. The macros work fine for me, if they dont work correctly for you then I guess to each his own. I originally made that guide a month ago when most of us were fresh 50s. It was just a source of information, and hopeful collaboration.
I never claimed all info was 100% correct. It was something to work off of and pull thoughts from other bards. Like i said, its a work in progress that can be updated as I please. If det ends up being greater than crit for scaling then its 20secs worth of work.

I apologize for taking the time to try to give a resource to people whom may be completely clueless about the class. I've never seen a guide written that was perfect first time out. It's always critiqued by the community and updated. Quality criticisms help. This guide is 100% wrong does not, especially when you are only arguing against the use of a macro.
Thank you though for the helpful comments. I have updated the guide as the quality info has come in.

Took a look at your guide and I gotta tell ya, Good job. Nothing wrong with putting together some insightful information for new and old player's of the Bard class. New players will get a idea of what to "shoot" for while attaining level cap. Old players may possibly find an alternative means to an already established stratem that they use. I saw only one issue that I would raise and it's regarding your macro set up. In your single target DPS rotation macro you listed windbite and venomous bite. I see the idea behind it however, to prevent clipping them when not required it might be more feasible to put the two on a separate macro all together. For example:
/ac "Venomous Bite" <t>
/ac "Bloodletter" <t>
/ac "Misery's End" <t>
/wait 2.4
/ac "Windbite" <t>
/ac "Bloodletter" <t>
/ac "Misery's End" <t>
Irregardless, congrats on a good guide. In the end I think like all things it comes down to user preference. Keep up the good work.
