I must say, running as WHM in various dungeons after spending so much time in Astro...
WHM feels so slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, hahahah.
At first I missed on Holy, especially its stuns, but after getting used of rapid-fire Gravity, pulling off Holy seems soooo sloooooooooow right now. Not to mention other spells like Aero/Stone/Dia/Glare, sooo slowwwwwwwwwww. And Medica/Medica2 also feels slooooooow after using Helios/Aspected Helios but this might be just my imagination, but it sure feels like it!
However I do enjoy the comfort of simplicity and practicality that is provided by White Mage. I like its straight-forwardness.
Still deciding on whether I should prioritize my resources to one of these two. I think I am gonna do Healer as a main, because I like it much better compared to doing DPSes or Tanks.

Was in MSQ recently as a GNB. When we got to Livias people didn't really know what to to and someone remarked:
"Tanks are so lost lol. Yeah drag them to the cannons so they get destroyed"
To which I reply that the mech cannot be tanked.
other tank explains in detail how this works and fight ends. Dude left withoput an answer.
Well, he'll get it the next 50 times he's here...
On a positive note, someone gave us a great tip. The Iron Giant that get's powered up by the claws can be cheesed. Pull him to the tower where Cid is and stun at 80, 50 and 30%. He doens't get powered up this way and can just be killed like that. -

Up front huge thank you for the healer/DPSes who supported me today.
I haven't played tank in forever, but as I get fending gear as my RDM main I try to upgrade my PLD gear.
I had just done so and decided to get a few more tomes by doing lvl80 dungeon. The surprises roll in:
1) Insta-pop dungeon ( I even say hello and comment on insta-pop as DPS )
2) No one is moving.... I look up - hey there is a blue shield next to my name?!!!
3) I apologize - and offer to have my butt kicked - but the random roulette crew is cool and say I should try it anyway
4) They even remind me after the first mob to turn tank stance on... DOH!
5) They are patient and don't mind my non-big pulls as I'm frantically trying to remember where the keys are.
6) Slowly it comes back to me - we wipe once to last boss but great dps/healing support and we beat the time boss at the end.
This could have been a really bad experience, but the supportive attitude was wonderful, my adrenaline levels are still trying to come back to normal.
I think, I had forgotten how exciting it can be when your hands don't just already know the rotation by heart and you don't know exactly what/where you are supposed to be.
If you are reading this and remember this clueless shaky tank... THANK YOU SO MUCH for being the kind of people that make this community awesome. -

If stuns are on point, it dies so quickly anyway that dragging it to Cid doesn't meaningfully add anything.

But if they aren't then the added AoE speeds it up. You will probably have to stun it once on the way to Cid as a heads up.
