Yea, I don't see how it is embarrassing either. Just shows fan demand. If it was a petition for butt sliders I could understand, but asking for more race options is a completely innocent request. :confused:

It's embarrassing because it's worded very strangely and with a clear, inappropriate agenda tacked on. It isn't simply a request to remove the gender lock, it's something more. The mention of Hrothgar being 'dominant' is pretty hilarious. It isn't at all relevant to the point at hand. It's also particularly ironic given how desperate some of the posters within this very thread are in regards to wanting Viera men to be as creepily submissive as possible. Though that's a completely different kettle of fish and thankfully a heavily contested point.

Here is why i think SE should be more upfront with regards to adding male Viera/female Hrothgar
1. No repeats of Paris fan fest 2019 because they were vague and never said anything about not having male Viera up front it created more negativity than it should have
2. This is not a race reveal it would be a gender reveal there would be far less hype for this than au ra/female Viera had (Poor Hrothgar they deserved a better announcement)
3. There is precedent for them to be more open about this, when they had decided to add male miqo'te female Roedagyn and female Highlander they outright said they were working on them as they were preparing for 2.0

Now i'm not demanding SE to make them asap i'm asking them to be honest and say whatever decision they have decided upon when they make it so that i can know how best i can continue my support if i do at all

Wouldn't that be the same thing with any poll or petition? Even if SE had provided one themselves? Couldn't anyone sign those too? Could anyone manipulate the results? Isn't that where the concept of margin of error comes in? I guess the point about not needing to be subbed to the game makes sense, but then wouldn't the people taking their time to sign the petition have some investment in the game anyway? If they're not subscribed, couldn't that mean that some of those signatures are potentially new players? I don't think it's wise to discount the petition with that many results from all around the world just because it's not on the forums.

Please keep your rude opinions to yourself, especially when you come in this thread every other day just to say "I don't want Viera males unless they're classically handsome." If everyone is being desperate in regards to wanting male Viera a certain way, you are equally so.

It isn't a particularly rude opinion. I won't deny that I want classically handsome Viera, but they're a much easier and more marketable sell than the utterly creepy designs some here have been desperately pushing. Please be civil and avoid stamping out opinions and posts that you happen to disagree with.

I'd also consider it to be very interesting that you decided to single out my post as being 'rude' yet did not comment on the horrific name calling and false accusations hurled at alleged 'white knights' but a couple of pages earlier. One has to wonder if there's a biased agenda at play! I'm still a little shook by the rude comments aimed at Layla, for instance!

No, not really. There's ways they can control who the survey or poll is administered to, including having you sign in your account to complete it. Hence why I've said in the past if they feel the need to undertake further validation of the results - an understandable impetus - they can do so. Whereas with these Change petitions, literally anyone can sign them and more than once if they're clever about it. It is pretty wise to discount a poll where the information collection methods being used are suspect, especially when the company has the means to undertake its own research if necessary, and not just rely on the off chance that some of the signatures are from potential new players. They already hold data for cross-marketing purposes, for approaching potentially interested players in a game, assuming there's the need to.

They're already listening to us in terms of reviewing the decision to gender-lock. Delivering a petition to them that can be signed by just about anyone has zero weight. My point in bringing up the poll is that it is providing supplementary info, but as a gauge of actual interest in removing the gender lock, the OF is better for this and I would certainly recommend that they conduct their own polling if they feel the need.

You aren't being civil yourself, though. This is a really rude insult to fling at art that is absolutely not utterly creepy. There are kinder ways to phrase a dislike of something.

Regarding your timely edit, that was a user that is not here frequently, nor do I take the time to read every post in this thread. You on the other hand are consistently here with something snide to say.
