I am honestly surprised the hand piece worked, I seriously expected them to be a 1 star since they were just part of my default glamour at the time. O_o

Claws of the Beast & Inspector's Spectacles work, but surprisingly Brass Spectacles are a dud.

Easy 80 this week with just a Shepard's Hat from Starting City Vendors, and a Sphene Ring from Ul'dah Jewellers (by Gladiator Guild).

Anyone have a clue what dye might help with the pants or hat? Being one point off, I'm just... so much salt.
EDIT: Changed the dye on the pants and they went down to a 4 star. I guess the dye is what pushed those over.

Hmmm... I'll try mine later today and see what works. But right now I'm guessing a lighter tone of colour might help...snow white? Yellow?

Wait, are you not wearing an earing? Any generic earing is worth more then 1 point(just having something equipped should be like 8 points for any non-graded slot). Otherwise a quick peak at the reddit thread for this weeks fashion report says this...

Aries does have an earring equipped. It's glamoured with the Emperor's New Earrings. If there was no earring equipped the slot wouldn't be visible in the graphic.

Ryon does a great job figuring out dyes weekly so what's listed will be accurate.

The dye list Frizze posted got me to 100. I need to get better about checking reddit, clearly.

Indeed, like I suspected... looks like Snow White wins the day (excuse the pun)

This week I got 82 with an Alpine Coat (Calamity Salvager) and Hyuran Thighboots (Male).

Edit: 94 with Tantalus Breeches and the above items.

Still no luck with the rings.

I usually also refer to Meoni's Fashion Report on You Tube... if he hasn't yet posted the guide for the week, I check this thread.

Orison Thighboots
Silvergrace ring (same model as Eikon Iron ring posted above)

The clothing items got gold without any dyes.

Fails:
Glacial Coat (didn’t expect it to work, but if the Alpine Coat worked then it seemed worth a try)

Untested guesses:
Sweaters
ARR-era crafter’s thighboots

Sweaters are 1 star only but expeditioner's pantalettes are gold for bottoms.

If you're married in game, the eternity ring works for "simply gorgeous"

This weekend's one was pretty easy: Onion Helm for head and Riveria Dress for body both got gold (I presume any of the generic citystate NPC body pieces from the Gold Saucer Prize Vendor would equally work) - it's just the legs and feet that have me stumped. Far eastern swimwear bottoms for legs and footwear from Shi-sui of the Violet Tides for feet?

The "near eastern" clue has been used a few times before. For legs that would be Thavnairian Sarouel or Thavy Tights. Ride the Tides does sound like shisui. The moonfire reward from last year has the same look(the faire stuff).

Fair Zori for feet and Thav Sarouel are both gold.

To confirm. I used thav tights and shisui boots(2 outfits ive had for ages), both gold.

I'm always a little annoyed that the lalafell starter gear doesn't work for "smallfolk".

I would have assumed that too.... but I used a Glade Tunic and it only got one star.
