Heals for Scholors need a buff

I have no problem with fairy fixes (up to WoW pet levels). But there is no way SCH needs any AoE healing buffs.

I started seeing requests for SCH tonight on my server

Sch healing is fine. The only thing I would love to see added in is an on/off switch for WHICH abilities fairies have access to when on auto mode. This should branch over into smn and arn as well. This would solve all my "problems" with pet ai. If we can't have that, at least being able to choose what stance she starts out in would be nice.

A pet behavior window containing these options would be nice. Hate the forced taskbar.

I am only a 42 Scholar, but so far I've been able to keep everyone alive fine. The Pet AI needs work - the only solution I have found is to reset her to "steady" after every ability cast. If I want to get the most I can out of Embrace, that means every time I heal someone it looks like this:

1) Cast Embrace
2) Set Steady
3) Cast Physick

If I want to do a Whispering Dawn or a Fey Glow, it's the same procedure. I've found it is beneficial to cast Embrace when I'm targeting someone for heals, because the Faery won't use it on her own until they're at 70%, and I can keep a tank topped off just by spamming Embrace and Physick, basically indefinitely. I can do this on a keyboard because I have set X to Steady, and can just kinda roll my finger across it. If I were using a gamepad, though, it would be impossible and I would be stuck with Faery AI. Faery AI is decent, but really can't handle effectively using the AE heal or Selene's two speed buffs.

Drink a MND potion right before summoning your fairy, and it's healing will be turbo-charged. The potion wears off in 12 sec, but the fairy keeps the boost. This makes SCH class really nasty.

Pick up BLM skill quick cast, and use it to resurrect people instantly, or re-summon your fallen fairy instantly.

False it doesnt work i have tested multiple times with both faeries. Have you tested this yourself or just posting rumors.

I'm not understanding why people are asking for a scholar buff. Nor do i understand why people are suggesting whm's heal loads more? On every parse i have ever checked I heal the same if not more than the whm when i add my fairy healing, both in and out of coils. WHM/SCH combined is simply the best combination for all current game. Even titan.

Selene's silent dusk can be useful in the coils for parties that lack cover in a silence rotation. She did an excellent job in the coils tonight.

Eos and Selene both have range issues on embrace they should have the same range as me.

The pet can get caught by nasty dots that kill it quickly.

2*sch healer are not great but with voice coms and communication they work, 2*whm r not ideal but are more effective due to medica 2 stacking which i don't believe is wai ( yet to be seen ).

More control over the fairy's would be much better

All in all QOL issues no need for buffs IMHO, based on my expierance of current content and parser

Another Sch needs healing buff QQ. Their healing potency is not the issue. Take a real look at the class before complaining about it. The sch needs their traits fixed so they don't miss out. so many scholars are on the forums whinging about heals being low without looking at why. We have a lower base mind stat which is fine but what is disheartening is our enhanced intelligence. A whm will still out dps a scholar while in cleric stance. enhanced int provides no boost to our assistance in fights. What we need is more crit. Sacred soil should give us a 20% chance that succor will 100% crit not be free to cast. We Don't need any additional mana control give us something we can use. "enhanced pet actions" trait NEEDS to effect pet healing not just dmg.

these are all proper suggestions. The range on embrace annoys me too. they have the same range and will heal someone at max range if prompted but they will not auto heal over a distance greater than say 18-20 yalms. uneven terrain shortens this distance also.
