Trying to convince people that think windower is a bannable offense that your LS is actually really nice, fair, etc, is wasted effort. Those kind of people will never understand the types of people who strive to be the best, who care about world firsts, etc. They would rather ramp up their self hate and lack of achievement to the point that they are so foaming at the mouth on these issues they consider using windower or parsers akin to murder and wish ill upon you.

It's fun to troll them but not much else; serious conversation and attempts to convince them otherwise is throwing megabytes down the drain.

Would you be willing to say that using bots, hacks, and anything to get an unfair advantage over other linkshells, especially in HNM, which is also against ToS and can get you sued, or banned, merely 'subject to perception' and not actually wrong? Well, it IS wrong. The question in the app seems suspicious enough, but having the namesake of the former Bahamut LS was going to get them this kind of flak from the very outset of this endeavor.

I must have miss something in their recruitment thread then cause I didn't see anything there about "to join you need to use bots" ...so I think you mean you are reading between lines and that "seems suspicios enough" like you said....but that is still not about perception, right? ...hmm ...well, if that is the case, my bad then. I wanted to join these guys back in XI but they wanted people with 1337 gear and i had above averge, so kinda gave up, they do however have good strats/advices sometimes.

You know, I started reading this thread from a standpoint of 'I respect Blue Garter for their skills, but don't really like the tone of comments/posts/etc I've seen from members.' The level of fame/infamy they've managed to acquire is fairly impressive though, that 29 pages later, we're still responding to a "We're looking for people" post. O.O

After reading this, I like them a bit more, because some of the arguments being brought up against them are utterly ridiculous.

I still think having public-viewable applications & comments are dodgy, but an LS is free to run things however they wish to. Good luck with your applications, guys!
