It's the same in both, just seems to rotate on the one used on the bat - which I think is due to the bat turning around while encased in the ice. If you look closely though, it's the exact same ice casing, along with it breaking off. The sounds are identical as well.

I swear... at some point the entire game will be instanced and the only time you see other people will be through content finder....
Thats one of the things I thought Tanaka had the right idea about. Although leves were implemented poorly, the idea of open world instanced content was innovative...

Don't be too dissapointed guys; this is the lower lvl dungeon of the two, the r50 aurum vale one actually looks quite cool with its geothermal pools.

How do you know that Cutter's Cry is a "lower level dungeon"? Back when the names of the new raids were unveiled, both were advertised as "level 50" and we now know that level 45+ 8-person party is the requirement for Cutter's Cry. Aurum Vale could have the same requirements and have mobs of equal difficulty for all we know.

True the other dungeon will probably have the same restrictions; atleast it looks cooler XD!

Seems this is what people want and what makes a good MMO. Leves were fine (it only suffered from the fact it was the ONLY content in the game at launch besides story and class quests) so they could have easily just instanced mobs and leave it open world.

Hopefully the Crystal Tower is open world besides just the outside sections.

Yup. That's why they bothered to release open world strongholds.

I'm sure we'll be getting both instanced and open world content going forward, just like we have been.
