You can definitely get King Tomato seeds from Krakka + Jute, had a plot that was 4 Krakka, 4 Jute, using 3 Shroud Soils and 1 Thanalan Soil on the Krakka Root, and the Than Soil one gave me King Tomato. Also got King Tomato from Krakka between 2 Broombushes, and King Tomato from Krakka between 1 Broombush and 1 Jute.

The only times I've ever got King Tomatos is from Thanalan soil, the Shroud soils have given me nothing special (other than the 9 extra Krakka Root).

I got Sylkis Bud from Krakka + Apricot (from the Krakka plant). The Apricots were already planted. Possible that makes a difference?

Hmm maybe it just has a very low crossbreeding chance. I had a plot that was 4 jute 4 krakka and the krakka all were given G3 Thanlan and got no seeds from them.

I updated my post with the new formulas. Thank you all for the new informations about different crossbreedings. Together we can find out the remaining seeds.

Some how i missed this but I got pearl roselle from Shroud tea seeds adjacent star anise and jute.

I Probably should replant this combo to confirm. I think i was asleep when I harvested

So weird thing, I got King Tomato seeds from a Krakka root that was planted next to Jute with Grade 3 Shroud soil. I have no idea what is going on.

edit: Looking at a previous poster, maybe King tomato is rare when there's no valid crossbreed?

Krakka + Apricot = Sylkis Bud
Apricot + Krakka = Sylkis Bud
Dalamud Popoto + Krakka = La Noscean Leek
Shroud Tea + Krakka = Sylkis Bud
Star Anise + Krakka = Eggplant Knight

I've got one question about the King Tomato seeds.

I got it from Krakka + Jute, will I 100% get my King Tomato minion when hes harvest-able? xD

I know its a silly question but I've been looking forward to getting my hands on this minion since the preview trailer to 2.3 xD

There should probably be a disclaimer regarding King Tomato seeds and intercrossing, at least until more samples have been produced. From the testimonies given, harvests yielding King Tomato seeds seem to fall outside of the currently known rules of intercrossing if you compile the recent posts about it.

There's missing information, of course, such as what soil was used and whether the gardener was using the clockwise planting technique. But one thing for certain is that there is an inconsistency with King Tomato seed yields, at least when we consider the intercrossing rules we've known about for awhile.
