I wouldn't have been ok with any of that. I would have left. Low level, irl shenanigans are ok, and even terrible but honest gameplay mistakes. But once you're in the dungeon, BE IN THE DUNGEON. I can't stand it when people do that. I've seen a lot of that crap in the Eden Normal raids. Where players will just que and sit there--because of course once you pull, you can't vote kick and most people won't wipe just to get rid of a leech. Ug.

First, we failed the DPS check on Shiva Normal (Eden). I... had never experienced that before tonight. I mean, I get that shields and regens are a good pair (and basic healer etiquette back in the day) but when I asked 'You don't want stacked regens?' they replied 'you can't stack regens.' -Um. I realize that was a thing in... HW I think? But dem regens stack now (even double WHM regens do, I believe). When I tried to convince them otherwise (or try to get them to use Regen or Medica 2 with my Aspected skills so they could see for themselves) they eventually refused and just... kind of stopped using those skills all together. I was actually going to go NOCTURNAL originally but with the shenanigans I usually see during Alliance, I figured more potent HoT would be erring on the side of safety. -Lesson learned, I suppose.

I beleive i mentioned this, but me and 3 friends ran the aery as a 4 WHM group. yes. they do all stack together. yes i somehow succeeded at being the 'tank' whm even with all the healing we did to get through that. and yes i tested this: the only things that cannot stack are SHIELDS (however a sch shield and a drk shield do stack. yes you can stack cover on the double stacked drk. I've done this.). a Sch Sheild is considered stronger. so a noct sheild won't work.

Regens have always stacked. What people are probably confusing when they say "regens don't stack" is that in situations where regens are already overhealing stacked regens just overheal even more. At least with a regen+shield, when a regen is overhealing it's just the regen and not the shield that's overhealing. If overhealing isn't part of the equation then double regens is just fine.

To be even more specific, the only shields that don't stack with each other are Galvanize and Nocturnal Field. All other types of shields, including those from other AST/SCH abilities like Catalyze, Seraphic Veil, Nocturnal Balance and Nocturnal Intersection do stack.

Also, the AST shields are stronger than SCH shields. Which one takes priority just depends on how much HP protection is left over in the currently active shield. E.g. if a SCH shield has 5000 hp of protection left then a 6000 hp AST shield will overwrite it. If the SCH shield had 7000 hp or protection left, however, then the 6000 hp AST shield would not.
Adloquium: 375 potency
Aspected Benefic: 500 potency
Succor: 225 potency
Aspected Helios: 250 potency.

Honestly in some groups, you're lucky to even get a 'hello' at times. Doesn't surprise me that no one possibly backed up their statement regarding Regen stacks. Especially when it comes to the CT raids, a lot of people seem to just turn their brains off and zone out until it's done, since it's so faceroll. Syrcus in particular.

If anyone is even half serious about playing an MMO on a console then chances are they have a keyboard. I wouldn't play FF XIV without one myself. So no, playing on PS4 does not equal hard to type for probably a fair number of people.

It's also possible no one was confident in their answer either way and just wanted to stay out of it.

Yesterday morning I was on my LP alt, and I decided to run Alliance Roulette before bed. Go figure. Got Labyrinth of the Ancients, of course. There was a Viera as our tank, and they kept doting me and oh whatever that Lakshmi charmed emote is. I found it funny. At the end, they were like, "Clyde I'm going to miss you!" and I laughed and gave'em a wave and a bow.

After they added me on Friends list, then came over via world visit and asked to take screenshots of my character stating, "He is the hottest guy, or at least hottest human."

It was really flattering and funny. They asked me to sit, jump, and smile once before I went afk to shower before bed. I don't know why, but I assume it's some program or mod tomfoolery. It was worth the amount of laughter I got though. Never had anybody obsess over any of my highlanders before, really lol.

Seeing three other people calling each other terms like idiots and, I apologize, retards, in the chat are quite hilarious. I wanted to chime in to say, "Relax, guys," but in the end I decided against it. The fact that I am the only one that is silent is probably why in the end I got 3 recommendations though, hahaha.
