Its not weird. It has helped a large number of people find/make close friends.

Some servers you really have a snowballs chance in hell finding anyone, what with people being RL married or playing with thier clique friends giving no one outside thier circle no chance.

Still Looking?

Patience is a virtue indeed. More like giving up and not looking along with other factors, I guess. Never worked out with a specific person I was attempting to marry and perhaps it wasn't meant to be.

There was someone I met on the lodestone a long time ago. Uhm..this is a long story but we both were looking for the very same things, and act in similar ways, though this did not really occur to me at the time because I was looking in the wrong direction so to speak. When they moved off of gilgamesh, I didn't see them again for some time(they also changed named, etc). Fast forward, I came to balmung..and I cursed everyday that I was on this damn server. But it wasn't until I was sitting in Gridania that I saw her standing across from me. We were on balmung the entire time but she didn't know I was around until that day. We were both shy at first, but once we began opening up, dominos started falling, haha. Given she was having the SAME issues as me, I knew exactly how to treat her. Most of our time was spent just sitting down talking for long hours, with a run or two here and there. I didn't care, I enjoyed it. After a week passed, we got married today.

What's in bold will always be my most fond memory of her.
