EDIT: She just told me, that she read someone got Soot Black after feeding 2 Berries and 3 Apples. She will try it with that combo now.

Not sure what to feed my Chocobo. Trying to get him to be Currant Purple. Keep bouncing back and forth between Royal Blue and Regal Purple. So far all I've fed it is berries and apples. Any suggestions peeps? :/ Checked out that calculator, how accurate would you say it is?

Thank you!!! :) Already fed it 3 pears and it said new feathers so I'll wait to see where it ends up n go from there I guess. But I'll definitely try your steps though :D

I fed exactly what it said to get from Colibri Pink (Which I was already at) to Lotus Pink. I can't believe it worked. I fed it the fruits randomly. A few plums, then a few valfruit, then a few pineapple, then a few more plums, valfruits, pineapples, etc. I am so happy I finally got it. -

I got soot black today. After nearly 2 weeks in the loop I tryed to with this methode: deepwood green I feed 2 plums (no new feathers message) then I waited 6 hours and feed another 2 plums and got soot black. I used the calculator website for help. I think even if u don't get the new feather message u manipulate the values. I hope it can help someone to break the loop :)

09-09-2014, 12:56 AMBennyBGratz on your achievement! :) So question everyone, once you get the new feathers message...if you keep feeding it will it continue to influence the change of new feathers or is it best to just stop n wait after the new feathers message? Used the calculator and fed it the fruit it said I should and got new feathers after jsut 2 pears and kept feeeding it. After the 6 hours I came and checked on it only to have it land on Royal Blue once AGAIN!!! :/ Fed it Val Fruit and several berries and didn't get a any message about new feathers.Quote:

09-09-2014, 01:15 AMChopskiIf you didnt get any new feathers messages towards the end, you were having an unlucky RNG streak and probably needed to keep going, 1-2 more fruit would have probably pushed you into the correct colour range. But it's a case of human calculation at that point, not sure what colour you were coming from originally, but suppose it doesn't matter now.Quote:
