Translations (JP to English)

This was already mentioned in the past but Triairy just posted it again to make it clear for those people who didn't read it before. It's regarding 2.0 Character - if you character data is going to be wiped or not, or partially wiped. (Some posts were talking about making 1/2 of current level and stuff...)

Players starting in 2.0/PS3 can choose already existing servers so there wont be issue where your friends starting in PS3 version not being able to play in same world.

:S this seems wrong for me, lots of people will join our 10 servers full populated instead new empty servers.

I think they have to limit for 1-2 weeks new players to only can access new servers, and after that, an option to, once, free transfer to another server, or they wil all come to our servers and new serveers will be underpopulated.

New players that doesnt have friends from older servers always tends to join empty server bc it doesnt have an established economy yet.

こちらについては、すでに開発チームでも想定しており、
単にレベルがあがったらレシピが解放されるものだけでなく、
クエストやリーヴでしか入手できないレシピというものも予定しています。
For this one, dev team already has an idea when you level up you will automatically learn new recipes but also have some recipes where you can only obtain by completing quest or leve.

1 & 2 looks same to me.... Miyavi posted after saying for method 1 it's like right now where you can try to craft without having recipe just like now by looking up online or from friends and 2 is where you can only craft after you obtain the recipe.

That's it for today so far unless YoshiP decides to post 3-5AM again lol.

I think it makes sense to only be able to craft off of a recipe. It allows SE to create rare recipes for uber gear or something that you have to work for.

i think is ok ^^ i like to have recipe rewards from instances and more.

It's to stop existing players going over there and destroying the economy from day one.

I support the idea personally.

I like the sound of the recipe changes, seems more in-line with what other mmos have.

So it looks like the classic MMO route. Instead of learning from trainers, you learn it as soon as you level it. I assume more rare gear/items can be learned by obtaining it from end game events/leves like MMO's do in raids.

I hope the 2.0 recipe list has some sort of menu>sub menu interface for faster searching.

I've not yet come across any untradable crafted items, this would be a good way to unlock them too ^_^ The combat classes have always had untradable equip to show off their good kills, it would be nice if crafters could do the same.

Something like this: Go through a difficult crafting quest, unlock a level 60 recipe, succeed in making it for a really fancy piece of equip (comparable to NM drops of similar levels but with crafting stats instead). Anyone who hasn't put in the work can't get it.
