I went through some fantasias lately trying to race-change, but it didn't work. The cat came back. The cat always comes back. And here I am.

It's love. The game's artists love them. It shows. I'm flipping through the big art book (INSANELY worth it) and it seems like a huge chunk of illustrations featuring characters, with the sole exception of the costume designs (which use hyur as a 'neutral' base model) are of either miqo'te or lalafell. These artists' affinity comes through in the sheer charisma these races possess in-game, and it's just fun.

There's a reason why I play with alts. That way I can try other races while still keeping my kitty. Basically the only one I'm constantly wishy-washy on is the Roe and to a lesser degree Elezen.

This is a specific Japanese thing. I'm trying to put my finger on it. I know that's she's rocking the shrine maiden red/white colors and contours here, but does the addition of the bow reference something else?

But I guess more famously (at least in the anime world), Kikyo from Inuyasha. Also Miqo'te Miko.

And I originally used a Yew Longbow as my bow glamour because the plainer look fit really well. But I like the Shadow Bow which retains the wooden longbow look (mostly) and the glowy effects from my shots go really well with the design near the grip. It actually looks more like the effects are coming from the bow's design rather than the arrow.

So, I used a Fantasia to change the sex of my Miqo'te to female, and later I decided to level up monk for static reasons that I gave to myself, and I ended up coming up with this~
