About the EU campaign for maid outfit and fat chocobo

So when will the other still missing campaigns happen? I mean the codes for the items will be useless at the end of the year so we dont have much time left. Would be nice to get some infos on those soon.

So I finally got my code a little while ago... then got another a few days later!! Different code too! So I gifted it to my friend :/ but seems like this has been run really badly.

I'm still waiting on this so called "event" for the Netherlands...

World of FF is only a month away, Dragon quest Builders only 11 days.. so.. what do I have to do to get these items... when they aren't available yet in my country.

Event would end the 30th... Guess what date it is today! Having to wait a few months until after NA and most of Europe's gotten it, while the UK has TWO campaigns to get it (O2 and Gamemaster) without any communication is rather annoying.

I doubt I'll have as much interest for it if they finally decide to create an event for us a month or two from now.

They had to wait to until the current promotion ended which was today. Also they could easily make new codes that are valid next year, there is nothing that states all the future promotions have to be done by the end of this year.

That's false. UK players had to compete with people outside of the UK for the first campaign and the second campaign didn't even reward the outfits which are arguably the most desired items.

If you wanted 30,000 MGP or the masks, then yeah, great.

I resorted to a sub for the maid outfit through Games Master, and the used the O2 promo for the masks & extra "fluff".

Sadly, no mount for me.

Ugh. That sucks - I just don't understand why it's so difficult for EU players to get a hold of all of the items when Japanese and American players had a much more simple time of it. Even worse is the lack of any acknowledgement or feedback regarding the issue - we had a few posts made early on in this thread's existence but they didn't address the core issues raised and there's been radio silence ever since. No mention of the predicament during any of the recent Live Letters either - which makes me worry that they're just hoping to brush this under the rug when the thread inevitably fades into obscurity.

With that said, however, so long as most people here remain stubborn and polite there's no reason for this thread to fade away or end up getting locked. Plus there's a - admittedly slim - chance that much like all the talk over the Lightning event items they may just cave in and toss the promotion items onto the Mog Station.

This is what I am hoping will happen. I just don't expect it to happen anytime soon. I would like another chance at the mount, but I have what I really wanted (the maid outfit), so if they don't then I won't loose any sleep over it. But it would be great if they had a more reasonable way of obtaining these items (mog store or a better promo) for those who still need/want them. :)

Hopefully we'll get some word on the other promotions soon------------- hopefully (not holding my breath though)

Still waiting for Hanabee to send my code. I bought Girls und Panzer it was in their FFXIV promotion list, they said they send out codes Friday 5pm(after the working week). They don't work weekends so now I have to wait for Monday to see if they send it... My anime series hasn't come yet either, so far I have nothing from my transaction with these guys ><.

Hope they release it soon for the remaining countries. Kinda sucks seeing people with it while you can't. :(

They already started other promotions next to the UK one (and even a second bare bone UK campaign) so I am not really sure why they would need to wait till the recent one ends? They could make new ones but the NA, the UK and all the other promotions that happened after them all had the same expiring date. I dont have much positive thoughts left for this promotions so my pessimistic side just thinks that they wont produce new codes even if the last promotions is in December. I may get a positive surprise but I wont hope for it anymore. It would be horrible if some people even have to wait till 2017 to get the chance at the dress.

Also waiting for my country's promo, if it ever happens. Please SE ;_;

Coming in stating that the other EU countries are still waiting for their promised promotions.

I did send an email to Hanabee and they got back to me on the next working day with the codes :). Just received my Girls und Panzer too, just slow postage from Melbourne ><.
Make sure to keep your receipts from the transactions people, just in case there is a problem :).

Seriously, where is the german/swiss/austria promotion?
Waiting for those outfits since they first appeared in the data, now almost everyone has them. I want to run around looking like a cute maid too. :(

HOW do we not have a promotion in the German-speaking countries yet?! I know everyone cares about getting their announced promotion and everything, but this is one of the 4 major game languages.
The German-speaking community is HUGE. And all others already had theirs, the Japanese, the English(both US and UK), the French. Yet we are still left hanging!

Spanish, italians ? You are not the only country without any campaign and we already stated that.

Still no event for the Netherlands aswell, guess we will find out more mid-October, but knowing SE, they might stay silent untill next year and suprise us with the event then....

You are right, it does sound shitty, because the promotions are based on the location instead of the language.

I doubt you would be happy if a German speaking country in which you do not live forced you to visit a physical store or a bar in the said country. It would be a promotion for German speaking players yet totally useless for you.

It's sad, but you should be happy that your promotion is at least promised. I pay the same sub like you do, yet there is almost no chance that SE would do Czech promotion so it is highly likely that I will never ever get a chance to get the items in my country while your chance will come eventually.

We understand you are pissed about it, but implying that you are more important than others is just gonna create negative feelings towards you.

Half of Europe isn't getting the promo at all. Just because you didn't get your promised promo... my country isn't even getting one and I live in Europe just like you.

Good thing I have friends in countries which had their promo already so they got the items for me. But without that, I wouldn't even GET a chance to get the items, so you not getting the promised promo yet is not that big of an issue. You know you will get it eventually. Should feel lucky about that.

Actually, the difference is that you already KNOW there is none for your country. Knowing none is coming, you could secure other ways of obtaining it.
But because we were "promised" one, players in the countries that were promised a promotion didn't participate in the other ones (like buying the UK one online, or taking the offer of several French players who went drinking for others, etc.).
Now those promotions are coming to an end, and with no word from SE at all and the year coming to an end slowly, other ways to obtain these items are disappearing, while it feels more and more unlikely for the "promise" to be fulfilled.
After all, they just said "we are PLANNING to do promotions in other countries", but what if those talks failed? This silence isn't exactly reassuring...

I'm implying that because it is one of the major game languages, the German-speaking playerbase is likely a whole lot bigger than for example the Czech playerbase.
