My biggest one I can think of was during Titan HM, I was MT and tomahawk'd Titan after he did his jump attack...and I didn't realize I was at the very edge when I moved back to position him away from the center. Laughed the entire time I was falling to my doom.
So I joined this T9 party as a WAR right, DPS not MT of course, anyway I am rocking a pretty high burst combo (No defiance) when all of a sudden Nael turns to me, and pops me with a Beak. OW that hurt, anyway she jumps away for lazer beam and I think nothing of it, I run to her and hit her another time to finish my zerk combo and I stack for beam to help with the DMG, well....I forgot I was hit with beak, and blight goes off....yeah....
I ran Stone Vigil (normal) and the healer was new. I forgot to explain the mechanics of the first boss, so the healer bit it when the boss was around 40%. One of the DPS died as well. So it was just me on warrior and a level synced black mage tossing me the occasional heal. I used all of my cooldowns and finally the boss and I killed each other at the same time. Love the self healing a warrior can do. :D I made sure to explain the rest of the bosses.
Mind-blanked a few times during an important swap in T13. Kept going with my 1-2-3 and by the time our WAR provoked, Rage of Halone was still going and I ate a facefull of Ahk Morn that wasn't meant for me.
It's now called getting Atreus'd in my FC. 8/
Started learning T13 last night. Second add pops for the first time. I'm like "Oh, I should provoke it and pull away from the boss!" right? I kinda forgot to target it. Provoke + OP on Prime = roasted static. So many lawls on night one. Come to think of it most my memorable derps came from provoke. "Oh brand pass! (T12) Don't screw up!" Boss runs away with main tank....forgot to provoke eh?
I went and Tanked a Snowcloak after taking a long break from Tanking (Several Months). I was feeling pretty confident but the DPS I went in with had be outgeared by a fair bit and they were in a hurry.
So they started pulling things, and I panicked and subsequently forgot about every skill in my arsenal other than Overpower.
So much for remembering your training.
As soon as I hit 30 gladiator I did PLD quest. I was so amped, instantly queued for the two new guildhests for the first time completion bonus xp. Run up to start... My cross hot bar (ps4) is completely changed since I was no longer a gladiator.... Took me a solid 30 seconds to find some enmity generating skills to use...
