The only time i ever enjoyed getting the relic weapon was back in 2.0, you know starting quest till i90 startdust rod. After that its become nothing but mindless content. Eureka has a lot of potential I just hope the devs can update it as i really want end game open world content.Quote:

How is that any more fun? In the end the NM are the one that probably most people want and yet the spawn rate seems quite rare for them too. We will get a different monster skin with a different HP level that we still have to kill a lot. It seems that the trolling as started. We did not manage to defeat the NM because people kept on pulling the way higher leveled bears directly into the groups but we could not pull it somehwere else because of the other higher level monsters around us. The add that needed to be killed was really hard to see with all the people there (kinda like the hunts) so we also had quite the loss with them. This reminds me of the EM in Diadem where only a small amount of people can destory a mission for everyone else. Honestly that was not fun and there was quite the anger and frustation in the shout chat while fighting and afterwards. -

This kind of grind would hardly be accepted back in the 90s, it sure as shit isn't acceptable now. It takes ~10 minutes to get a single crystal in a full party rolling at full tilt. Nobody wants to spend 500+ hours grinding out trash weapons. They're garbage literally RIGHT NOW, they're going to be even worse in 2 months when you could feasibly get the weapon.
This kind of mindless grind is worse than atma. Worse than anything FFXIV 1.x did (besides the flowerpots). -
