Is SE planning on putting in more social items (i.e. clothing, jewelry, etc)?

Will you all have my babies collectively?

Can the crafters have an official recipe book that shows all the recipes they have ever done and be accessible at all times as opposed to what they just crafted and it disappears after doing other recipes?

In regards to whether or not SE is pushing for subscription fees to start now or later, I will be paying. It is my investment to the team to deliver on their plan of attack in making sure this is one of the more outstanding mmorpgs out on the market. I have no qualms at this time paying it. I will be angry if what has been advertised in 2.0 and everything preceding it fails to be implemented. Please don't make me feel like I have wasted my faith and my money SE. That is all I ask. I am sure many others feel the same way

Yes, Diablo III is coming out - who cares? I plan on playing that and FFXIV. lol

1.) Will the game engine by using Luminous and offer DX11 features ?

2.) I noticed in the concept UI there is now a mini map with + and - to zoom in and out are you considering adding gathering nodes to the minimap like in other mmos ?

We all continued to play and complain and now that it will come time to "choose" now all of a sudden others want to jump ship or pay a reduced fee because they believe the game is half complete. Now lets examine the 50% complete statement many are using to support their argument. Yoshi P said that content wise the game is 50% complete. He didnt say which version now did he? For all we know things can be further along than they admit. Is it likely? Probably not but it is one of many possibilities. The fact is neither of us can know for sure because last time I looked I was a fireman not working for SE.

I respect your decision to not pay due to you feeling that the game is not done it doesnt take a genius or a wise old man to figure that out. However, can you offer the same respect to someone who is not paying for an incomplete game, but are putting a down payment on something to be finished later.

When comnpanies announce that they are making a certain game and its something I might be interested in I go to my local game store and I put down some money if not all of it to reserve my copy. Or preorder so to speak. Well my monthly sub fee is two fold.

1) To support the only mmo that I plan on playing in the future.

2) To pay for something that I actually use finished or not it eventually will be done to most gamer's standards and I just dont mind paying.

Sorry for the long post but sometimes you have to give a bit of info on why we say what we say so that people can atleast understand instead of just assuming they know exactly where the poster is coming from.

Take it easy and lets cheer SE in whatever way we can for a successful FFXIV 2.0 shall we?

Well put, I wanted to write the same, specially about Yoshi's 50% claim; which he didn't contrast with anything at all, just said " in terms of content". I believe Yoshi and the development team have a Vision about the ideal FFXIV, and from this point to the ideal FFXIV we are at 50%. Nowhere is it implied that the game is not ready to be charged for, considering the same argument some have used about an MMO never being finished.

Also I'd like to point out, while trying not to sound like I'm flaming or trolling; that I believe calling you a "youngling" was an attempt a derogation, unnecessary and a little bit hubristic from Darkshine's part; being young, if that were the case, does not necessarily mean that you do not know what you're talking about.

In any case, I don't think it should be our intention to persuade anyone at this point; each is entitled to his opinion, and I do not think much good would come from arguing about it here.

they must have lost their damn minds and this is where you will see this game dissapear lmao. No classes added to "feb" tera online, kotor and gw 2 are gonna eat this game alive this will be a epic fail one that SE and fans will never forget! XD

jumping...swimming...u still plan on adding these? i know most people have adapted to running around every rock and cliff side but i would like to go over them like i would in any other game.

1. Is it possible to implement application for mobile devices/smartphones in the future to use features like LS chat or managing retainers whithout logging into the game?
2. I dont like the quality of english voice-over. Will it be possible to download and use Japanese voice-over as an option?

have to agree. SE is makin a big mistake and i hope they see it b4 its to late. i like everything they plan on adding but i will not pay why i wait for the shit that shoulda been here from the release. i have been following tera for like 3 years now and i have high hopes for it like i did this game. if its better witch its pretty much a sure thing seeing as how this game is so broke. they proly wont see me back again for another test. cuzz atm thats all this game is a beta test that all of use payed for.... but that was not what i was led to believe when i bought it.

1. Are you actually using Luminous to develop the game, or did you license another engine out to redevelop FFXIV 2.0 thus incorporating DX11 capabilities into the engine?

2. With DX11 capabilities present should you be switching over to Luminous, will you incorporate proper development to take full use of Quad, 6 and 8 core processors to alleviate some of the issues that plagued FFXIV version 1.0?

3. Will you incorporate proper programming to allow full use of SLI/Crossfire setups on the PC version allowing for greater than 60 fps on proper setups?

4. With the redevelopment of the client is it possible to have the new PC client stop time-stamping 2-300 files every 60-90 seconds as that was causing variable lag on some systems forcing people to upgrade there HDD to SSD to stop said itinerant lag?

5. What types of hardware will you be testing on to verify that GPU temps will not spike like they did in FFXIV 1.0?

6. Is the new UI pic concept art or was that an actual picture of what we can expect from FFXIV 2.0?

7. Will there be a return option in the future to replace our current physical hard media copies. Some NA/EU ISP have bandwidth caps and downloading 6+GB of Data every time we need to install is not the most optimal option. Will there be a replacement option for our hard media should we want new physical disks?

8. Are you developing FFXIV primarily for PC or PS3 will FFXIV be a PS3 client ported to PC or vice versa, SE in the past has used PS2/3 limitations as an excuse not to do certain things to the game or implement certain features.
