That's just not what i do, and not my experience in the DF, even when wiping as a tank.

And whether its here or reddit, there always people decrying posts that say THEIR role is at fault and its THEIR role that should learn how to play, extenuating circumstances be damned.

All i can say is im not that interested to return to a hardcore "do or die" mentality for this game. Sorry if that doesn't answer why the forums are what they are, i don't have that answer either.

Frankly, it doesn't really matter what you do.
What I described is what happens in the game as a whole.
DPS are allowed to be incredibly lazy, and just plain bad in pretty much any content, there is a lack of DPS checks in 4-man content, and in 8-man content they can easily get carried by the 3 other DPS (or Tanks and Healers who go out of their way to DPS).

This causes terrible DPS running around, and making content way more difficult than it should be, or even impossible. And nothing can be said, nothing can be done, hours are wasted by bashing head against a wall, just to disband a party. Players get frustrated, frustration causes toxicity. Something needs to be done.
As long as this issue was limited to EX Primals and Raids, it was "OK", now people are unable to progress the story because people can't clear Bitchmarck HM... So yeah. Something NEEDS to happen, and a parser is the best tool that can help here.

Well, I'm not convinced, then, as my experience with df is different than yours. I do not support a parser, or think it will help make a better party experience.

Well if you never were in a group where a DPS check fails (which I really don't believe, but all power to you), you probably don't understand the frustration.

I have had 3 days in a row where I got Bismarck HM in Trial roulette just recently.
In the first we spent almost an hour failing to do the Snakes DPS check, before we voted abandon.
In the other two, we failed twice on the snakes, to just have the group fall apart with people quitting.
All of this with me adding DoTs to both snakes when I could. I am a healer.

It's story content, people NEED to clear it, but it doesn't get cleared because DPS are used to being allowed to be shit. And there is no way to know which of the 4 are failing, and need to either focus, change their rotation, or get removed. So yeah, babying DPS does not really work anymore, and if SE want to keep adding DPS checks to story content, they NEED to give us a way to see where the problem is.

You have any ideas for how ppl can improve skills and clear contuent on time ? not waiting for new gears or need help from ppl who clear this from long time and they are doing new things ? Parse thing that help you to know what are you doing in fight with your pt some thing you can see it . Parse can show you how much you doing as dps + crit , heal taken a lot of thing . When you drive car you have meters without meters you don't know how much you are driving.

Talking from your experience is fine, but you only need to look on any forum that posts about FF14 and you'll see the increasing amount of threads created complaining about failing DPS checks and bad players in general to see there is definitely a community problem regarding player skill, but the majority of complaints by far are about the increasing amount of poor DPS players people are finding within DF and failing content because of it. These problems are widespread.

The lack of a feedback tool in a game based almost solely on DPS checks (because apparently simple mechanics are too hard for many) is a huge issue. In a game where DPS players need to perform for the party to realistically complete content to not have a feedback tool is plain stupid and promotes lazy play and ignorance of your own skill. They might not know they are playing poorly, they might not even care, but the ability to know where you stand is incredibly important, especially when your poor play is affecting 3+ other players experience too.

The community is already being driven apart because of this, less and less experienced players are likely using DF because its far too common to be shoved into an instance where you are failing constantly and have no idea why, it only frustrates people to no end. Which is why you see players leaving instances when they load, it's not worth the hassle most of the time, especially in trails and raids, or kicking players and refusing to play with the new player bonus. The lack of feedback has only bred more bad players, and the increasing count of bad players only builds up the "toxicity" of other players when content is being failed continuously.

This includes myself, DF has become toxic, it's becoming less and less attractive to use. The only thing i run on it now is Level Roulette, no reward can make me sit there doing all the hard work for other people wiping multiple times to content long past being current and being piss easy at that. If i want anything done i'll call on my FC or my 4 designated Linkshell's for finding players for content.

The constant nerfing of content by SE doesn't help things either, making content easier that isn't really hard to begin with anyway is NOT improving player skill, it's only making it worse and it's only allowing them to progress to frustrate and causing problems for more people further down the line. Which then results in more nerfs, which ultimately devalues content.

In b4 3.2 nerfs Bismarck and Ravana HM so no DPS checks are required.
