It was back to normal for a short period of time but went down again. So either everyone and their grandma tried to login to PSN and caused something similar and it went down again or the more likely case they were hit again by a DDoS. I was briefly able to get on the PSN through my vita to try and download the Hanayamata game but I was error coded out when I tried to enter a PSN card to add the required funds and haven't been able to get back on since.

well time to update PC version :p

Managed to get the PC version up & running on my iMac, running Parallels & XP, but it's not pretty. I'm seeing strange objects that should be out of sight, ghost into the foreground. Like a layer of the horizon floating over my character when the camera points in a certain direction.
