And casuals would benefit more from a lock-out timer. Yeah that make LOADS more sense. Thanks for clearing that up.

You guys were hiding somewere that didnt see the direction the game was heading?.
I say this with pain and not as an offence.IS TO LATE FOR THAT .
Casuals is yoshi target audience , dont let him fool you.
Let me wrap this up for you:
Lockout timers enable the devs to increase the drop rate WITHOUT the hardcore population clearing the content faster than the casuals.
The drop rate can be as high as the lockout time is long. If you can do an instance once a week instead of once a day, drop rates can be sevenfold as well. Nobody is getting stuff done any faster, but those with less time to play benefit more from the time they put in.
It's not rocket science.
Tell me DevilsAdvocate, what would the difference be if the timer was a day instead? Like you said there's nothing left to rank up and outside of a challenging fight you don't care about anything else.
The game was advertised from Day 1 as a more casual game. Not Yoshida's fault you got into a game that was clearly never designed for you.
After running the same Leves over and over , the same grinds over and over . Why is anyone surprised at the Raids being on a 5 min timer so we can run them over and over ? Its only because its free that its acceptable , its crap and we all know it . If any of us had to pay for this level of content we would all quit .
So lets make the Hardcore players play like casual players. Wow. Stunning that this makes logical sense to ANYONE. CASUALS are casual for a reason. They don't have the time to run a dungeon 5 times in one night because they don't play 5 hours at a time, or even 5 consecutive nights a week. THEY ARE GOING TO GET GEAR SLOWER BECAUSE THEY PLAY LESS NOT BECAUSE OF LOCKOUT TIMERS.
It's amazing when logic actually makes sense, right?
Clearly you dont understand that in all business you need to have a reputation and a customer base before you can even THINK about making a profit. They are investing because 1. they already invested to much to pull the plug now and 2 in the far away future , they might make a profit. But first things first.
Short term f2p ? dont make me laugh.
