I wish there was a way to cross breed in apartments. A veranda garden of some sorts?

YoshiP told us several years ago lack of dynamic weather in an instance is why we can't have gardening inside, only the flowerpots. Weather in instances is placeholder only, skybox effects usually chosen to reflect the mood in the story.

It's very obvious if you enter a house while it's raining in the ward (you'll see the mini-map switch to the Fair placeholder) then go back outside and it's raining again, or watch someone tend their garden (the animation is to bend over to tend the plants when it is raining, use a watering can when it isn't).

They would need to remake one or both systems to be compatible with each other. I don't see them going to the effort of doing it considering gardening is not that popular with current house owners, especially with the effort they are putting into Island Sanctuaries.

I think the reason they won't is two fold. Graphic rendering requirements and hall of mirrors. I'm sure they could limit it to one mirror but that still wouldn't account for the fact that, hypothetically, you could place 399 items in front of the mirror and the mirror image would effectively double the item amount rendered. This wouldn't be that taxing on a PC but would have obvious problems and consoles which is the limiting factor on item count in houses already

Give all indoor furniture a Z-axis. Rather than having to use glitches to float items, just let us raise and lower them freely. Maybe they've already addressed this in older posts though?

It actually being possible to get a house at all would be nice.

It would be nice if the housing system allowed you to use your personal house as an FC house (Add or remove the little door to your home). It would help open up more plots for individuals to own houses and allow those with houses to have the FC perks of a workshop, FC rooms etc.
