We'll see. I believe these buffs put us a good bit ahead of RDM for DPS. The cast time reduction and the elimination of the mana tick issue (6xF4 every time regardless of mana tick) is a decent DPS increase.

I'm having the great luck of having a static that lets me play what I enjoy and not what meta says is best. Maybe because of that I feel even worse for staying on Blm, seeing how we can't contribute to the group as we used to and are outclassed by Rdm. That's not balance, that's punishing people who would rather stay on the class they been playing for years and worked their ass off to perfect, just to promote their expansion and the new jobs.
I seriously doubt that was their intent. I really think they've made balancing difficult on themselves by refusing to let players parse and not having any sort of PTR or public beta tests. The data generated by internal sources prior to the launch of new content just isn't enough. Additionally, their design philosophy of certain classes bringing party damage buffs and other utility makes the data provided by FFLogs difficult to precisely quantify.
The buff was ment more for levels 58-70 than 50-67.

Because embolden buffs 6 players out of 8 tank dps still counts as good raid dps.
Contagion buffs blm, rdm and smn but and 2 healers so 5 and 1 of them will have to heal almost full time while the other does dps.
Contagion has a shorter CD but embolden also lasts longer allowing people to get through their openers.
Yadda yadda it doesnt weigh as heavy vs melee rdm comps.
So trying out blm it looks like the mp buffs did b4 rotation a disservice.
Not using B4 we ALWAYS have 5 fire 4s and b4 rotation only gives...6.
Dont try to do a 7f4 opener. Without b4 though because itll leave you with not enough mp to cast b3.
Foul imo should now always be casted at the END of UI if we can help it since 0 mp cost helps bait healthy mana ticks.
