Submersible Information Thread

Two questions, i have 4 level 50 ships, well higher now.
How can i exchange my parts if i cant remove them off of the ships?
What is the purpose of exchanging them?
Do i need to craft more stuff upon removal?

I dont know what info i should be looking for.

Switch them for a different part while you do it (you've probably got shark parts sitting around).

It turns them into frames which you can then craft the modified part with once you unlock the new sub thing (which as far as I know, nobody has done yet).

Probably frame + other stuff (likely some combination of new mats and old mats) for modified parts.

Are you referring to the travel distance vs survey?

Travel distance is how far it is from the previous location, survey is exploring the zone. Imagine survey as driving around slowly looking for junk to collect.

Was 2 longer distance and noticeably less time to return with the same ship setup than switching North and Ash1.

Does anyone have the bonus stats on a sub at 57? My subs skipped over it.

Hi there o/, just a question is CCYC the all round sub to aim for (I see it a lot in the posts)? I'm just picking up the sub duties again including upgrades so I know each part as plus/minus but just looking for something that can unlock everything and hopefully have a chance to bring back most things.

Aim for CUSyC for now. We're still figuring out what's going to be good at the end of the second map, but the CUSyC was definitely the best for the first map and seems to do well while progressing thereafter.

The modified parts are all just direct upgrades of their unmodified versions. At this point it's a matter of figuring out what the minimum surveillance is for the rare items and the minimum favor is for a second attempt.

Sent a CUUC sub to South Isle of Zozonan --> Southern Charnel Trench.
Picked up 28 HQ Pure Titanium in SIZ and new minion at SCT.

Unlocked 2 more, sorry someone redeployed so i dont' know which courses unlocked them. I was just spamming the first 2 and then the 3rd . Get some Surveillance. I didn't see any Cocobolo, Pure Titanium, or Cryptomeria until I hit 60 and put on the good builds.

CUSyC - Good for hitting 5 different zones on a 3 day trip

CCUC - Good for hitting the first two zones on a <24 hour trip (the first two zones have all 3 of the new items)
