I just tried that out and buffs fall off by the time it's back off cooldown. Just weave it in during B4B/HE/RS uptime.

That is pretty much my GCD timetable for the first 2 minutes. Certain GCD's are pushed back to prevent GCD bloat.
What Aiuri is talking about is that if we get a Slug shot or clean shot proc we can insta cast those and we can squeeze in 2x oGCD's per GCD. After the initial opener I just assume one oGCD per GCD.
A network parse would be better as it's just a simple copy & paste into my excel spreadsheet, but I guess I could work with that.

The timing is tight but if you fire a Gauss Round early enough it'll be up again at the end of Wildfire.

The principle of it is since the opening rotation is so long, and Gauss Round is a fairly hard hitting ability with a short CD, you may as well put it on CD first thing ASAP. It's basically an opportunity to get an extra cast of it, and let its CD tick down while you're busy with our bloated opener. It'll be up again just before Wildfire expires so you're still getting 1 Gauss Round in a Wildfire - but now you have 1 extra Gauss Round cast, having fired 2 at this point in the fight.
Damage buffs have fallen off by the point of the second Gauss Round, that is true. So it's a question of (1 buffed Gauss Round outside Wildfire + 1 unbuffed Gauss Round inside Wildfire) vs (1 buffed Gauss Round inside Wildfire), and also whether the damage of 1 extra Gauss Round is worth the extra split second spent casting it (the tiny GCD that ability casts incur).
On a side note I'm happy to discuss any optimizations to my opener. It's fairly similar to the ones in popular use with a bit of variation to accomodate fitting 2 Gauss Rounds in.
I know this has been mentioned elsewhere but I just noticed I wasn't getting all my WF damage during A3S. The flying text showed up and everything. I just didn't get the damage parsed at all for 3 of the 5 WF's in one instance.
yeah you really notice it with the BIG ones that make everyone go WTF is that, but you see your dps and its <2k. Probably just because its registered as a DoT tick

All in All, MCH is pretty good for this fight but it takes forever to learn where to put your turret in the last phase so you can hit the raid with TP song and have it not be cleaved - I think BRD has the advantage on this.

Good to know! My static finally got the chance to try A1S last night and myburstdamage on Faust was hella strange with the max dps of 1100 and min 950*
while everyone was doing 1200+.
Sadly i'm on PS4 and the ACT would be really awesome for me.
*I realized that Faust or the adds was killing my turret in the middle of the fight ∑(O_O;)
I dont know your gear but at i195 I burst about 2k, up to 2.5K if i get a lot crits.
Or i burst 1600 because ACT fucked up wildfire
So it could be a Wildfire ACT interaction, or you could need more practice.

i was watching your Wildfire vid again and trying to do the same rotation, but can't do more than a 6k dmg WF. The point here is, on your video, my rotation ends when your WF is still at 6s, following the same rotation as yours. You're casting 4 more skills than me. I'm playing with 150 latency, maybe that's the problem here :(
Does anyone here play mch on ps3? I have it at i182 but can't even top 1k dps on three minute parses against a dummy and I'm starting to think it's partially because of input lag and latency. I think I'm okay at doing the rotation, and looking at the parses haxetc and aiurily have put up from when they were about that ilevel I don't feel like food and pots alone should make up a 100+ dps difference. I'm sort of wondering if I should wait until I'm playing on PC before trying to do more with the class.
Uhhhm that's a lot of latency but i don't know if you lose 4 skills that quickly. I have a friend that plays from Korea that ends up 1 GCD behind me after 3 minutes. Maybe you're GCD clipping a lot more than you need to? Button Spamming to make everything over off here is pretty high so if you're not just spamming everything it just might not go off in time, etc. Otherwise I'm not sure, I know latency makes getting all the ogcds hard for sure, so it might make you clip a lot.
with a raid composition without drg, i was wondering how much in total does Litany + Disem. add to initial burst? 10% - 20%?
10% raw (disembowel), + 15% crit (battle litany) which is variable.

This might have been asked but I can't find it, is there a reason to use spread shot at level 60? My machinist is 53 and I'm already just using grenado for AoE.
That's where I am gear-wise. On Faust, I do around 1150-1200 if I'm lucky with procs. Oppressors will vary due to mechanics, how fast everyone can kill the adds, where the light beams spawn, etc. I think my last A1 run I did a little over 900. I'm also not the best player in the world like some of the others in here, but I feel I do decent enough.

You know, I've been leveling my Drk and just got Dark Arts. I just realized that DA is what I thought MCH ammo was going to be. When I cast Dark Arts I can either Blind targets, increase combo potency of Souleater, increase magic resistance or evasion on my cooldowns. Why couldn't ammo be like that?
I wish we can keep GB on after death. It randomly falls off for some reason. I think bard Wm doesn't have such issue.
I have to keep reminding myself to check it during raid before pulls. Hahaha.

There are a couple of mistakes I'm aware of: I waste a proc near the start and again in my second wildfire, and at one point I freeze up and stop attacking for a second or so (OBS makes my game super laggy and it throws me off a lot). Is there anything else I'm doing wrong?
When I parse myself without recording and don't mess up I'm usually slightly higher than this, generally ending around 960-70 DPS. Given my gear I feel like that's pretty low. Is there anything I can do to bring it higher?

Can any tell me if mch gets better at higher lvl? cause right now at around 36 i'm having a hard time enjoying the class ( visuals are kinda lack luster ) and the rng on your 1-2-3 combo is kinda a pain lol xd
