Not to be rude but it's easy for you to say that now.

Anyway I guess I'm guilty of some of that. I had issues with the one I wanted to marry. No drama, I just jump to conclusions and give up. Sometimes talking things out lead to disaster anyway and I be wanting to avoid it.

I just want to add to the current topic ^_^ Nothing ventured means nothing gained in most cases. Sticking around a server is just as valid as transferring, but you need to be able to speak with people regardless I feel. I would likely still be on Excal afking my game time away if I hadn't decided to start talking to people and eventually transfer. You do have to put yourself out and try to reach out to people, more than a forum post might gather the attention of I feel. But also, everyone is different and what works for some won't exactly work for others.

Also Leo (AceHunterIce) asked me to apologize for him on his forum absence as he got a temp ban but will be back soon.

Personally, I completely understand your issues with talking things out. I always tell people to talk to each other and work things out but I rarely do it myself because I'm afraid of confrontation. The best thing, in my mind, is just to hang out and chat with people without specifically looking for an EB partner. Don't jump into anything. That's really what leads to disaster. And if your first doesn't work out there's no reason for you not to keep trying! You may find out you and your first intended or even full EB partner just don't fit as well as you would like. But just keep looking. You'll find someone!

So after almost 4 weeks, my laptop is fixed and working better than ever! Tested XIV and it runs wonderfully.

This means I can finally log onto Balmung and request one of those shiny Linkshell invites. Who is it I need to contact and what times are they available? Due to work today however I won't be online until about 11pm GMT (6 hours after this post.)

I've been sort of keeping an eye open for an EB partner, partly because of the glamours coming with the ceremony, but also because I'd really like to expand my circle of friends. I'm 25 years old, Danish, female, not interested in any RL romance but definitely up for a friendship!

My interests and gaming style line up pretty well with yours - I love making outfits in-game, and my FC jokes that I'm only playing the game for the glamours haha. Which is not quite true, but a bit! I would definitely be up for helping you catch up on everything you've missed since you quit; I'm from Northern Europe and my timezone is CEST, I'm usually on from around 15:00-midnight local time, which is about 8-17 CST. :D I'm not interested in transferring but would be glad to welcome you on Sargatanas! The server itself is a US server, so it would fit your timezone and is pretty populated.

As for the wedding, I'd prefer to wait until Heavensward is out; I'm currently female highlander, but am changing to au ra when 3.0 hits and would like to be that for the ceremony. :D

I can't quite think of what else to put here - feel free to ask if you have any questions! I can make a character on Lamia and we can chat if you like, or we could use a messenger (I have Skype and whatsapp). :)

People normally figure it out when during casual chit-chat. FemShep fans that seem butt hurt, though.

One guy DID figure me out from the way I type and correct my misspellings all the time. He was like: "No dude would get that worked up over their spelling and grammar."

I've always been bad at guessing genders but I've always thought it was funny how people could "tell" by the way someone typed/expressed themselves.

There is a tendency that the majory of people usually type according to their gender. It is not really because of their gender per se but how society taught us how yo react/type. This rule will never be applied to everybody cuz there is going to be exceptions like in everything in our society.

Didn't know Malboro was under creation restrictions. I personally play about 7PM CST to 11PM CST weeknights. Weekends is sporadic.
