originally had 4x dalamud planted, stuck 2 cloudsbreath in the NW + SW corner, removed the dalamud, stuck in chives, NE cloud, glazenuts, SE cloud

resulting in (1st = harvested):
cloud x dalamud = no result on both
chives x cloud = azemya rose
cloud x chives = azemya rose
glazenut x cloud = shroud tea
cloud x glazenut = no result

kind of annoyed
either poor cross luck or intended to just flat out not cross with some things.
with this sort of result I kind of wish I'd just shrouded them instead :(

I can confirm Dzemael Tomatoes and Coerthan Tea Leaves yield Cloudsbreath, harvesting now. Pearl Sprouts and Old World Figs gave other seeds.

Yes,just harvested them as well and the cross-breed chances ain't 100% success just like the old rare seeds.
But at least I've got exact 4 seeds and with Grade 3 Shroud soil I can get total 8 cloudsbreath for the mount !
Now I can get the chair !!!

Cloudsbreath x Royal Fern gave Dalamud Popoto set and Shroud Tea seeds for both ways of the cross.

Crossing Cloudsbreath with Blood Pepper gave 2x Shroud Tea, 1x Dalamud Popoto & 1x nothing (no return bar harvested blood pepper). Did it for science! X3

1st = harvested

curiel x cloud (x4) = no result / retry
krakka x cloud = mandrake | sylkis
pearl ginger x cloud = almonds
sun lemon x cloud = mirror apple | almonds
midland cabbage x cloud = dzemael tomato
shroud tea x cloud = pearl roselle
dalamud popoto x cloud = la noscean leek | shroud tea
pearl sprout x cloud = azemya rose
mandrake x cloud = nymeia lily

shroud3 cloud x dzemael tomato = 5x la noscean leek
shroud3 royal fern x owfig = 5x royal kukuru
shroud3 royal fern x mirror apple = 12x sun lemon

cloud x mirror apple = rolanberry | eggplant knight

continuing with the theme of useless crosses:
royal kukuru x royal fern = royal kukuru | dalamud popoto
nymeia lily x royal fern = nymeia lily
rolanberry x royal fern = la noscean leek

Useless?

I regularry use royal kukuru, nymeia, mandrake, dzemael tomato, amd almonds.

yes, but those loops are useless because the fruit itself for those plants have no value, so you're leaking $ on soil.
nobody in their right mind would cross specifically to obtain mandrake, dzemael, or almonds as they're easily obtained from btn/btn retainers.

Garlick Jesters next to O'Ghomoro Berries gave me Eggplant Knights. On site it says it's one way and only the Berries can give Eggplant Knights. Seems it's both ways.
