Amdapor Keep Changes Unfair

Let trash mobs drop tomestones, crafting materials like Coke, Potash,..., Grade 5 Dark Matter and Gil.
I would have no problem with clearing a dungeon if the trash dropped something worthwhile.

And it would be nice if more dungeons dropped the required endgame stuff to get some variation.

EDIT: Tomestones and crafting materials with a low drop chance of course.

Had the luck of getting about 2k ToPs and 600 ToMs before speed runs were nerfed. I found farming the rest painful and boring given the time required and the extremely low choices of dungeon.

I leveled a SCH because I use the same gear, but there is no way I will level something else and gear it again. For that reason I feel bad for the new 50s and I agree on the injustice.

Ak doesn't take a hour to finish, not sure who some of you are running with. I hit 50 post nerfs and have almost all ak/dl armor and my relic in a week, as a dps.
You need Phil, do CM not AM. 30 minutes in a much easier area and you are up 100 tomes.

As I said before- exploit early, exploit often. It's the golden rules of MMOs, and FF14 is no different. Wow...what pile of crap arguments are these? People who Speedran AK got their gear with almost no work??? They had to kill the bosses nontheless...and if you weren't overgeared for AK in the first place, you could never think of SR it in 15minutes, so your argument is pointless. Mythology is capped...it didn't matter if you ran AK 30 times a week, or 8 times...the mythology everyone could get was the same. If you didn't speedrun AK back then cause you weren't 50...that's a stupid argument, cause you couldn't have gotten any mythology anyway...Lvl 50 characters capped their mythology with or without SRs...it doesn't make a difference...

And yes, you are an entitled whiner. Cause everybody who SR AK put in just as much work to get their gear, as anybody is right now. I geared my BRD completely with DL in 2 days of Praetorium Speedruns...
2.1 and PvP is more than a month away...the only disadvantage newer 50s have against older 50s, is they couldn't get as much Mythology as them, cause its capped per week...this has nothing to do with AK Speedruns...you're just being ignorant. Not to mention 2.1 also introduces PvP Gear and PvP Skills...and all of the players have to start from scratch to farm those...

PS: Just checked your Lodestone Character...you got exactly ZERO Darklight pieces...don't accuse others of exploiting anything, when the real problem is you being lazy....I got most of my DL pieces through Tomestones AFTER the SR patch...so no valid argument there...

It's not 'unfair' to have to a do a dungeon as it was originally intended. I'm honestly baffled that people believe that being able to skip large portions of the dungeon was a style Square-Enix wanted to encourage. I agree that there needs to be more rewards for completing dungeons and possibly more treasure chests with allagan pieces to sell for gil tied to trash packs that have to be defeated in order to advance.

The people who are calling this a grind have clearly never did weapon trials in ffxi

The crafting ilvl70 gear is actually better than Darklight simply for the fact that you can have materia slots, which makes it better. Granted, you are taking a hit to def and mag def, but gaining additional stats.

So I never saw this thread until now, and it made me wonder if something just changed. But I see it was made last month... I've been running AK regularly for myth and on average a "normal" run takes 20-40 minutes. Is this really what you all consider to be "unreasonable"? Because if you aren't willing to run a 30 minute dungeon, then I'm sorry, but you might want to look for your source of entertainment elsewhere.

(What I'm defining as a normal run is fighting all bosses CORRECTLY, the one time I had someone in my group try to exploit one of the bosses I refused to tank until they left the group so we could replace them, haha.
and killing all trash that needs to be pulled to get there. I think maybe a total of 3 packs of mobs are avoided throughout the entire run, and it isn't by some exploit, it's by walking right by them, their aggro range just isn't large enough, so why bother pulling it?)

Today we were doing AK's in 18m 20s, and we were doing Praetorium in 20-22m earlier in the week. I don't think CM is the best way to get seals.
