it's not freely available data, it's data harvested from TOS breaking 3rd party apps being used to log shame and harass other players for giving feedback on the feedback forums.
This is the ugly side of these addons and parsing tools that people saw coming a mile away. It being used as a tool to compile data about and harass other users into not giving feedback on the game.

This works, if only the nature of the thread in question had people acting in uniformity.

The healer strike thread had a lot of bloat in that statistic from people either:
a) Trolling
b) Talking off-topic, e.g., accessibility.
c) General disagreement with the thread.
d) Meta-discussion (this exchange being an example)

In fact depending on the ratio of these points compared to those actually in support of it and/or making recommendations, one could quite as easily make a different inference, and sadly with the OPs finite wit, nothing of actual meaning importance can be derived from their crusade.

So, yes, how dare they.

There is no reason to argue with anyone who does not comprehend clear and unequivocal violations not to mention the bizarre and flawed methodology (post count lol). The only question is whether SE will see the reports and act on them.

i read this thread's OP once.
what i took from it was that some people, likely some strikers themselves, likely OP themselves, not being happy about some content creator people talking about this strike.
being edgy and mean, making it sound like pointless, kinda stupid, disregarding some strikers because no pink/gold/whatever parse etc.

i couldn't care less what they say specifically, the content creators i mean. not the tone or motive or flavour. of course i disapprove bullying, but that didn't seem like the topic of this thread's discussion. so i determined to focus on the simple fact that in OP's opinion they, the content creators, could be doing better in opinions of some strikers while talking about the strike. as in, not be a-holes about legitimate concern of a kind.

i didn't feel like beginning to study the finer details of the talking points or the timeline what lead to this strike, because honestly i don't have time. so maybe i shouldn't have said anything. but wait. then i realised i don't know much about this strike myself, because i am not interested in reading 400 pages of yay/nay opinion-y chat. if only there was bite sized summary to learn from, so the fire for learning more could be ignited, and maybe i would find myself reading 400 pages of riveting forum discussion

and THEN that just got me thinking, the shortest way from A to B: "hmm. if i was bothered by someone understanding my online strike wrong, what I could do to help idiots (like me, i owned that) to understand better, if they chose to engage with my arguments in good faith at all?"

lot of ifs. i merely held myself as one kind of bystander. who might agree with the strike with full understanding, if the communication about the strike was organized better.
i think that good number of those bad takes by content creators can be explained by hanlon's razor.
i also think that people who want to disregard and ignore the strike will continue to do so, whatever the strikers say. that's how humans work, that's how internet works.
i don't think any striker's parses disqualify the whole strike. the streamer is acting like bully.

They included anyone who posted in the main thread at all.

I'm also listed as one of the strikers for all that I've made it clear I'm not striking and don't support it.

It's doesn't bother me since I know it's just someone trying to stir up drama. I don't make it a secret that I stop doing serious content back when I was still playing WoW. Could I still do it now? Doubtful. EX is probably within my ability but age has taken its toll so I doubt I'm capable of Savage level content anymore.

But I still understand the point of view of the strikers even if I don't agree with all of their points. There is definitely room for improvement, though I think that room lies mostly in encounter design and not job design.

DPS healing and active mitigation don't impinge on the healer role as far as I'm concerned even with what's getting added in DT. A full DPS group is going to have a very hard time clearing content without tanks or healers. Constantly rezzing the dead doesn't go that far if most of the party is carrying Brink of Death for 50% of the fight.

Tank mitigation doesn't impinge on the healer role either, in my opinion. Mitigation that reduces damage taken by a percentage should be part of their job, including party wide mitigation. What needs to be removed from the tank is the healing. Healing is the healer role.

But still, it's mostly encounter design that needs to change. There's room to add more frequent unavoidable damage in higher level normal content. If a healer is going to be casting a GCD, there's no reason why that GCD should be limited to dealing damage instead of healing damage. If SE wants mana management to matter, which is pretty much non-existent at this point past level 50 even with a bad party, then remove the mana cost on the healing GCDs and put it on the instant casts and most of the oGCDs instead.

I don't understand the confusion. The healerstrike opening post is the bite size summary. There is no need to read the whole thread when it's all in the first post. It contains a link to an older feedback thread as well. Here, I tried to make it even shorter and underlined the relevant parts.

"the official thread for those in support of a healer strike as a collective voice to the dev team"
"to express the dissatisfaction with the continued direction the game has gone concerning healer gameplay"
"what is an arrived consensus"
"a negligence towards the role, as well as the players who main it"
"The purpose of the healer strike and this thread is to garner support for necessary changes"
"Please use this thread to voice your concerns"

- It is not just Gemina speaking for herself, she is speaking for many others who agree
- The thread is a means to get feedback to the devs
- The problems have existed before the dungeon clear and are ongoing
- Changes are necessary
- Player feedback has been ignored so far, so healers are rallying support

If this is not a sufficient explanation then I don't know what else can be done.

Edit. And people are welcome to jump in at any time without reading prior posts. If it's supporters, great! If it's critics, make your voices heard too! Just make sure your points are about healer design, your healing experiences or the method of the strike itself, and not ad hominem fallacies and harassment targeted towards individuals.

Not all has been ignored.
In an interview before EW release Yoshi did respond a little bit about it.
Not all of them, but I've seen people talk about these in here.

That being said I don’t think we would do any sort of dramatic addition of offensive skills moving forward. By having these offensive abilities some players, like new healers, might feel pressured like “oh do I have to have good DPS while I’m healing?” or some players might be aggressive like “oh hey you have an offensive skill in your kit, why don’t you use it?” and I don’t think that’s optimal either."


If the strike will change their minds on this or not we just have to wait and see.

What this strike has shown is that "a very high player skill level" is complete nonsense.
