I'm personally in favour of adding "Butt-clench" somewhere in there but honestly... heal check. Simply a heal check, that's what Cycles, WL2, Terminal, Curtain Call etc. are as it's a whole phase with a fairly high but somewhat evenly spread healing requirement. The fights are all still strictly time-gated and if you take longer than that you've overstayed your welcome and die.

Soft enrages simply aren't really a thing here. WoW had a lot of them, some ramping up the incoming damage until it was impossible to keep up, some gradually reducing the safe space on a platform until there was nowhere left to go, some having debuffs that you had to pass on and died if you didn't have someone to pass it to left etc. but it's all about hard enrages here with some major butt-clench mechanic before.
The closest to soft enrage I can think of (that I experienced) is UwU when Ultimate Weapon lifts one person after another into the air, taking them out of the fight until finally all 8 players were taken out and it was a wipe.
