I also received Coral Pink after 1x Apple in my first feeding (last night), and then 2x Apple, 10x Berries this morning.

My next feeding will be 3x Apples. I will post results in 6 hours. >.> (Can't provide screenshots since I am at work on a PS3.)

I was expecting a bit more of a drastic change when you fed it... I gave my bird one O'ghomoro Berry earlier and it hasn't changed at all... Still the default yellow. Is this normal?

(The justification is: if you make something "lighter", you're reducing its mass. "Deepen" it can mean that you make it more 'strong', increasing its mass. At least, this is how I see it.)

So, in order to get a dark/black chocobo, you need to reduce the amount of red and green first, meaning that you would need a combination of a few Doman Plum (lighten red) and some Valfruit Seeds (lighten green).

I can't give any amount nor I can guarantee what I'm saying because the numbers seems to be all over the place.

Ah I see, thanks for sharing that info.

Is it just me, or are the green birds just not very obviously green like the blues and reds posted thus far?

The green dyes they have matched are very light shades, wait for Hunter green, it'll be glorious! :3
Edit: I expect Apple, Cactuar, Hunter and Ochu to be the greeniest greens. Time will tell~

I'll know in 5 hours what 20 Deepen Red and 4 Lighten Blue end up doing. Should be some kind of red I hope.

I'm hoping that MikuHatsune can share the food she fed her bird to get "Blood Red" as a result as well, that's still missing from the spreadsheet
