anyone can explain me why butterfinger reject quite receipt for legitime purchases??? for example, amazon receipts, or local shop purchases, I dont understand, I saw ppl says this promotion is a scam
There's a bunch of different people verifying these receipts. That means they're each going to interpret the guidelines for accepting the receipts differently and with a quota looming overhead they also have to fly through them. If they're behind they might just start hitting accept or reject to get through their pile quicker so they don't get a visit from the overseer. I'm making some assumptions of course, but I can't see the promo company (prize logic) not having a quota for staff sorting through entries. There's also just human error in going through so many receipts that certain parts start blending in and they genuinely don't notice it's valid.
I submitted a Walgreens receipt with the barcode on it on day one, and got it two days later. Of course it helps if the receipt mentions it was a Butterfingers you bought and not "CANDY" which might be a gas station manual entry clerk error instead of scanning.
It's a 3rd party company that does these things, so they'll take their time.
Sorry to hear that. I don't have any other tips for contacting them other than maybe poking Butterfinger to check for your DM. I imagine both have been fairly inundated with messages, especially past the 5 day mark. The JP promotion definitely seemed more on top of things, but they have a smaller area to cover and with one chain that can print a code on a receipt, it really simplifies the process.
I'm just telling you that the people who check those receipts should be more professional, if I make a serious purchase in this company, I hope to receive the same treatment. The only thing I have done is buy on amazon, upload my receipt, and receive a slap from butterfinger
