I relate with this problem on my roegadyn. She has the smallest chest possible and I try to dress her in clothes that flatten her chest. Then there's clothing like the yukata from the first summer event that clearly enlargens the chest for whatever reason.

I guess they won't go smaller, because otherwise they wouldn't be able to justify the jiggly physicks. ouô

People seem to keep fixating on the PS3 when the devs have said the restrictions to many things in the game are either intentional design or due to the server infrastructure that FF14 uses. The things PS3 would have limited would be things like graphical detail and the amount of models you could have on screen at one time rather than model shape.

We are getting an upgrade to the servers by the sound of it but I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch.

These are hacked sliders that are not limited or doctored by the devs. Its like stretching a 3d model by a pixel without any rules a naturality. If SE did add sliders it wouldn't be like this. Take a look at games like Black Desert

Would make sense. According to lore in one of the Xaela tribes it is considered sexy to have a huge bloated belly. Yet you can't make a fat character. In fact the only game that allows creating a fat character is Sims.

I am legitimately interested as to the source of this.

More on-topic, I'd imagine that the reason why they haven't added fat sliders (at least lore-wise) is because...well...you're an adventurer. You go and run around everywhere (or at least in dungeons) and beat everything up. Hard to get some body fat with all that activity.
