Actually since not every abilities can be use by all jobs, there's still a need for balance. If a job only ability is too strong then that class is stronger than the others.

I would like to see Tetra Master implemented as a form of PvP, perhaps the matches viewable by players other than the participants as well.

I disagree with jumping and open PvP. Ballista in FFXI was a good mode for PVP, along with Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba. I just honestly don't get why anyone would want to use a jump other than the jump attacks DRG had in FFXI. Jumping doesn't serve any real purpose, and just seems annoying. If anything it is upsetting for someone trying to target someone else who is jumping for whatever reason.

PvP should exist in the form of all previous FF minigames like cards, arcade games, chocobo racing, blitzball etc. Take successful elements from previous FF titles and incorporate them into an online game to enjoy with others.

PvP/PvE using the Gladiators Arena would be cool. You could sign up to battle tough mobs with your buddies to get cool stuff and increase your fame (Monster Arena). Each match you win opens up tougher mobs to fight. You could have the option of "Take down the Mobs First" to compete against another team or teams. Or even just PvP up to 3v3 to start.

- Minimum R20 quest completed to start, but be aware that the matches get progressively more difficult on the Monster Arena.
