Adding more servers to the cluster wouldn't of solved anything, the problem is congestion, the worlds are not full, adding a European based Data Server would of helped, however. I'm sure they would of loved to present one too, though I suspect they could not afford it due to recent financial shortcomings and the fact that Final Fantasy XIV: ARR is a huge investment risk.Quote:

If SE thinks that I will be paying subscription just to be told that I can't access the server, please try again (error 1017)... Think AGAIN... I gave SE all the chances... I pre-ordered collectors' edition of 1.0.. entered the legacy programme... etc etc... If SE blows this time.. that's it... I have a little bit of self-respect left in me...

Although I have early access, I am not even participating in it.. I got the collectors edition for the in-game items, and things like that. Music, art, etc. The early access is just an extra bonus to me. :D

You shouldn't be, they have your money and are obviously in over their heads. If you think the game is gonna be 100% smooth even at launch day your nuts. I have played probably over 50 mmos over the last 20 years. This is one of the sloppiest conditions I seen an mmo this close to launch. You should be worried and SE better get ready to start writing up refunds ( Again ).
