Do anyone know how to minimize/reduce the size of the Video file? Mine seems to be really big for a short video 0.0

I tend to load up my completed files in VirtualDub with Xvid Mpeg4 Codec as video compressor, as an example my last posted vid was 2.6 gigs, after compression it was 87mb.
