Plan to remove benefit for failing leves?

[Removed by Moderator according to the FINAL FANTASY XIV FORUM Guidelines.] the developer stated they were going to add additions to make completing beneficial, but not stop people from continuing to do just like they are. if it were an exploit se would take it out of the game. se said it was ok to do. they had exploits they fixed and removed, but no matter what you think this is not one of them.

I have nothing against people who enjoy leves, I've been doing them for a while, but levefail is for those who just want a ride to 50 no matter what means necessary.

SE have stated that they know the majority of players are abandoning leves and plan to add completion incentives so that some players (may)come join you in completing your leves. Quit crying because nobody wants to do leves with you.

If SE have stated it is ok to do something then who are you to say it isn't? Give it up already, this isn't hurting you or having a detimental effect on your IG experience, go troll a WoW forum or something.

If you didn't notice the mod cannibalized the thread so no points were made. Go fail dunefolk again and fee;he sense of accomplishment!

I'll be in the Dev's hands with this. I'd like to see how they're going to solve the problem of failing.
I'm just bored to fail those three leves just because the party wants to fail them!

All they would need to do is make all leves available every reset. I know with balancing leves could be just about as good as any other leve, however, if I cannot link with my friends, that's still not what the optimal sp gain is for failing the same leves, and it's more time consuming. People will always opt for failing them as long as there is more to be gained than completing as well as being able to link all together with friends. I do not think it's wrong to fail as long as I can continue to link with my LS like I do now. It's fun because everyone can be on the same page. It's more chaotic if everyone just grabs leves and we have to go around to several camps to complete it. A 2 hour leve run can easily turn to 4 - 5 and not everyone has that kind of time. This is suppose to be a casual friendly game, so good job everyone that has completed every single leve they've done so far, but I don't have the time and it's just not fun for me to play that way. That doesn't mean anyone is wrong on how they want to do leves, the problem is when people start finger-pointing like there is a 'wrong' and 'right' way.

It's not sarcasm, I don't know why you'd get that impression? People fail the leves just to hang onto them. I do it, my friends do it, my LS does it, and everyone in the game who ranks up fast does it. The moderator said along the lines of, Let's encourage players to complete their leves more by getting better rewards and what not. So, if they implement this, why not also give us the option to complete our leves and hang onto them again instead of hoping the counter offers them next reset.

Well, that's not all they would need to do. If that's all they did, everyone would have 2x Dunes, Necro, and All on every reset.

Note that I'm not saying this is a bad idea, just that it's. . . incomplete. Of course, if they boosted all the leves up to Dunesfolk levels and let us pick 8 for the same camp every reset, leveling would become atrociously easy. Like I said earlier, I'm wondering how they're going to fix this without making leveling a joke.
