So i'm at deepwood green again i feed it one pineapple with one feather proc should i leave it or feed it other? last time it was no message,Feather,feather for 3 pineapple in all.

1st plum no msg 2nd plum got msg heres to hoping for soot black! ill update the post in 6 hours :)

I'm currently at Ink Blue. What would I have to feed it to get soot black?

two pineapple you may end up with deepwood green or marsh green. If you get marsh green then 2 berry if you get deepwood green 1-2 pineapple if you lucky you may not end up in a loop like i am right now.

My bird is also Midnight Blue. I've gotten a lot of different shades of dark blue, but no luck hitting soot black >.<

I've been stuck in a loop between Royal Blue and Regal Purple for a while now. Finally managed to break it and got Storm Blue. Now how would I got about getting to Soot Black from here?

Right now, 2 pineapples should do it, but already proven you didn't get it, so probably your values are on the edges and too high for simple approximation (green value too high). I'm calculating a minimum variance now to get soot black:

pineapple 2
apple 1
berry 1

Current 41 39 37
To Target 6 8 2

Target color RGB 47 47 39
A third pineapple lands you closer still (but at higher green value):

Current 46 44 32
To Target 1 3 7

For both:

pineapple 2
apple 2
pear 2

Will land you at 6 6 6 away from perfect soot black, if your values are consistent, it will be soot black for sure, most have gotten it with worse variance above 10.

You are moving around high values of Green and Blue, you need to downplay them and level them up with blue, try:

apple 10
pear 7
berry 1

It's the closest you get directly and highest chance of soot black.
