Housing Ideas and Feature Requests

I’d really enjoy it if they just added in Z axis movement to all indoor housing items at least. The whole issue of having to glitch furniture on top of things like the stage is a bit cumbersome especially for people who aren’t too familiar with every housing glitch. It would be nice to just snap things into an up or down position. Like a keybind to lock movement on the z only. If people glitch to get things to float. Just let us float things then. At least only allowing that indoors.

This might have been asked before but can we get a feature that allows us to preview fish in fish tanks?

Could we get some large side dishes (green beans, stuffing, cranberry sauce, a salad etc) to go with the Starlight Dodo? Right now if I want to put together a Starlight feast it is mostly meat and dessert. :)

A blank interior option for the 3 house sizes would be amazing. No built in windows or pillars. Please remove the side rooms from the 2nd floor of the mansion with this template..

Yessssssssss... and while we're at it, let's set that as an interior design slot where we can put entirely new layouts. Maybe one that puts the stairs in a different place and makes them spiral? Or one that uses ramps instead of stairs? We could have Il Mheg, Crystarium, or Ishgard themed interiors even!

Seeing as we can only have one house per service account, I really feel there should be an option to share the house with other characters on the same service account (provided they are on the same home world as the owner). It would also be fantastic if we could transfer the house to another character on the service account (provided they are on the same home world as the previous owner, and meet the level/GC rank requirements for owning property).

Fixes for things we already have (to make room for better things):

Standard partitions and partition doors should be removed and replaced with 'blank' versions that use the standard design as their default skin. Default walls/partition skins to have the ability to be painted.

Take the stupid blank white canvas out of picture frames so we can use the frames over our posters--or make it a toggle. (It drives me insane that this is a thing.)

If an item is meant for your feet, you should be able to place furniture that normally sits on the floor on it (lofts/stages). Please fix this.

Toggle for model/miniature bases. I'd actually have some if not for the horrid blue tiles under them. Toggle them on the outdoor dinosaur skeleton and stuffed (taxidermy) animals too.

Let us put our retainers inside. Please.

A guest book that...just looks like an open book. I like the idea but that thing is a monstrosity.

Yeah. I would definitely like if they were able to classify some furniture as "surfaces" that you can put non-tabletop items onto. Right now the solution is an exploit to float the items, which is tedious and not beginner-friendly. This feels essential for lofts and stages.

It would be nice if next year we could have some glamorous western New Years decorations. Like actual balloons, sequence furnishings or formal dress, fancy place settings like chocolate fountains or champagne. I like the eastern decorations but since we have both cultures playing the game it would be nice to be represented as well so we can decorate as we do in real life if you should wish to.
