Would the overall success of this thread be possible if it was truly female irl players looking for counterparts. And pls don't flame this as it has nothing at all to do with gender or orientation. It's more about how successful one group of people seeking something in a forum dominated by a particular type vs. others who are seeking something that is more in the minority. Do those in the minority feel like they are more successful in the current forum due to the sheer size of the thread or do they feel they are drowned out by the larger group?

Well, I'm over 40 (42) and usually spend the time I'm away from home monitoring the forums. Am I the only 40+ on the forums actively trying to use this thread as a means to connect with another player? Probably.

Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character? I'd prefer a female for both, but always looking for good friends as well.

Character Race: Au'ra at the moment, but that could change at any given time. Will never go Lala though XD

Preferred Race: Anything but Lala for EB, but friends can be anything.

Main class?: Probably BRD? I switch between BRD, PLD, and RDM quite often. Currently working on WHM as well.

Dislikes: No communication, cockiness, elitist attitudes, ignorance, bigotry, racism, and any type of derogatory language towards the less fortunate.

Goals for the game: Try and explore as much content as I can. Will possibly be looking to raid in the new expansion, but nothing hardcore.

Goals for the marriage union: To find someone to share my time with in game and out. I enjoy the game and would love to have someone to share all the little moments that make the game so special. Definitely looking for someone who wants to spend time with me as much as I want to spend time with them.

I don't remember his name off the bat, but there was another guy on here searching for an EB partner, and he said he was 39, about to turn 40. I'm sure there are others.

That is one of the things I love about this game. There are quite a lot of people that play this game that are 30+(including myself.) Even some well over the age of 40 and 50. One of the better communities that doesn't have a mass of kids screaming in their headsets. XD
