It's still gonna take a little while though (roughly 9.5 hours at last check... My upload speed is crap) and I apologize in advance, as you will hear the screenshot camera a lot @_@ I didn't want to break any other sounds, so I didn't tinker with any settings. I'll post a link when it's up!

But on a serious note, I cant tell you how thankful i am for everyone that posted and kept this thread alive. I am madly in love with this woman! No matter how bad my day is hearing her voice and laugh changes it, and without you guys I would have never found her. @ Jayboyy I would recommend you to be more open mind because chicks will feel the same you all weird to marry someone of the same sex (I am saying this because on previous pages if you care to read all our chatting. You will find girls playing as female toons saying no-no to guys playing as females) We have our friend Ceris that changed from female to male by the time he was going to marry his waifu. I don't know if he took the initiative to be fair with her or his waifu asked him to (I can't tell what was the reason there). We have other girls playing as male characters and they are ok.

Of course there are others that don't really care or just want to make sure the player is of the gender they have preferences and the toon can be anything. I suggest you always talk face to face (screen to screen ;)) and set everything on the tables so you both know what is going to happen.

I think it's weird to ask to marry a girl with a girl toon when you're a guy playing as a girl.
Doesn't it seem a little demanding that you can play an opposite gender but they can't?

Cerat first spoke to me here as a female toon but i hadent posted my info yet cx after that i posted what my preferences were and i guess he wanted to meet me bad enough to change his toon for me AND transfer xD but i never asked him he just did it on his own cx

Ive change my char to male before(i am male and my avatar is out of sync).. Always willing to do it.

No shame in being gay! If you'd rather stare at male asses this game supports gay marriages too! Just look a few pages back someone had one already and posted some screenshots :3

Also it's worth noting that not everyone wants this game marriage to translate into a real life relationship therefore there are people who do not care who someone is in real life and can see them for who their character is. Some will care, some will not care :3

As I said before there is different preference. I just see it inappropriate to play ur opposote gender and ask the other player to no do that because it will make you uncomfortable. I even mentioned how there are players that don't like it that logic.I like to be fair with everyone so I mention it every once in awhile i see someone that are like "oh no you must be this gender toon cuz it won't be right other way"

@ Acehunter you should probably talk to the person and get to know each other. There are girls playing as males
I think people change back to their original gender if they become friends with the other person or feel some type of chemistry. A good example here is ceris (sorry for keep using you lol)

It is a metaphorical way of speech. In a way it made sense to say that 90% of the girls in games are guys because we have to remember that girls aspects in game was made to appeal guy desire of perfect woman body. Guys wanted to fantasy about that ( I m not saying that every guy feel/think like that but the majority AND back on the 80-90-00, you could see more). As girls becomes to enter the game world, you could see girls/woman playing as such, but during those decades I mentioned there were girls that were harassed and then decided to play male toons. I know a friend that played in tera and she got a lot of attention cuz she was a girl. I haven't seen that type of problem here, but I do see that some guys make a joke about it and do act girly with other girls. I know that some guys tend to be more talk active with female toons.

I just don't like men who don't feel "sincere" when they talk to me. Just building on the conversation a bit, I'm personally on the other extreme of this spectrum. I try so hard to NOT to present myself in that manor, but unfortunately it comes off worse. Thankfully, once I get to know anyone (male or female) well enough, I just treat them like I would any friend. But knowing a player is female irl tends to put me on edge until I am at the point of being familiar with them.

Also why I was super reluctant to post my info on this thread. I didn't want to come off as some desperate, lonely guy looking for a real relationship with someone through this game. I just want another friend to play the game with that A) isn't just another guy, and B) can fill the void of some of my friends I left behind on Balmung. (Long story, won't get into this one) And, if I'm going to "marry" someone in the game, I'd rather it be an actual female.

@findel glad to hear u found a place in malboro. That is actually the first server I started on, but of the friends I made stop coming so I began to explore other servers until I stayed in balmung. With the new expansion, I wonder where else I ll be going or just staying here.

Yeah I'm new to this whole thing, kinda didn't know how to act when we met dekal. I had to get off due to work. I saw someone mention sincerity, well I know some ppl do troll, why assume that we all do? I'm a male that has never tried to use my female in a way to take advantage or manipulate or make anyone feel uncomfortable. It's just not in my nature to do that. Sure ppl make comments and ask me to do things. But I just say no thanks and keep it movin. I just have a lot coming up and won't be able to log hours like I used to and am looking for someone who I can work with to achieve the same goals. Raid when we can and progress our relics together. I feel like what's the point in an mmo if your playing alone? So I'm really looking forward to meeting most of you and hopefully one of you would be happy to accompany me through Eorzea! :D

@jayboy yeah I know. It was a good to talk to you but we didn't have a lot of time yo talk about those things u mentioned about no be able to be on cuz of things in RL. I got things to do all day long. I even got busy at night. I was tired by time I was done with copper. When I see u on, I ll send u our LS invite. I know some girls that r looking for EB but r playing as males. I say talk with them and see if u can be friends. As I said before people tend to change to their original (RL gender) gender once they become friends/ be familiar with the person.

@dekal Guess it is also hard for me to tell who is who and I feel rude if I ask what gender they are. That is my shy point XD
