Just desynthed VA boots of Aiming and got glass fiberx1

Has anyone been able to test whether the i180 blue scrip crafting gear desynths into Glass Fibers? A user on Reddit said that this is the case. But who knows whether that's the truth.

Though I'm still uncertain as to whether it's worth it. You need to farm 1000 blue scrips to get 1 item which might not yield a fiber. You could easily spend more than you make back unless I'm missing some super neat way of getting blue scrips fast and cheaply.

I have no pic (plz forgive me) but I have gotten glass fibers from void ark drops also. Even got 2 of one item too.

220 GSM desynth. 100% chance of success against i180 gear without buffs.

I got 2 glass fiber off a crafting hat, so that's possible too. LTW/WVR make out best here with pants/feet costing the least.

...still can't desynth the red scrip right side gear (Handmaster's ring etc) despite those being now much more expensive to aquire than the desynthable ones.

Which i180 gear are you desynthing? The crafting accessories?

So far for me, out of a relatively small sample size, desynthing i180 crafter boots yields Glass Fiber ~30-40% of the time (occasionally HQ). Otherwise it's misc leathers (Griffin, Dragon, etc).

Based on the pic in the initial reporting post, the desynthesized object was the GSM i180 hat.

I have not tried accessories since they require red scrip exchange and it's more efficient to convert them to blues.

All four blue scrip equipment yields 1-2 NQ and HQ glass fibers, 1-2 fieldcraft demimateria III, NQ and HQ versions of Favor products (adamantite ingot, aurum regis ingot, etc), NQ and HQ versions of mid-grade materials (aurum regis nugget, hardsilver ingot, etc.) as well as the clusters of the approporiate craft.

Questions remain:

- Is there any difference in the yield on gear of different scrip costs? If so, certain desynth skills will have a value advantage.
- Do i180 tools provide any unique items or different yields? eg. Mastercraft, 3x fibers, 3x materia

The Body peices yeild up to x3 Glass/luminous Fibers. All other left side gear yields x2

Body pieces are over double the scrips though.

Also, this update made Crystal Bell desynthable, which becomes the best BSM r160.

1 titanium alloy ingot (now only 2 sphalerite + 1 titanium nugget)
1 birch lumber
1 wildfowl feather

Also gives fieldcraft 3's and seems like maybe even a contender for one of the better sources of such, assuming you don't have problems getting a diadem farm partner.

What's the most optimal fish (cost/time-wise) to level CUL desynth past 180 with?

I got 4 glass fibers from the goldsmith i180 mainhand.

Just a heads up I got 1 glass fibre from desynthing Void ark Mage gloves.

I am probably not gonna like the answer but for LTW any cheap desynths from 160-170 outside of dungeon drops?

Closest you'll get for cheap are the sky pirate gears on leather worker, I think. Requires you to be 2stars, which isn't very hard now to reach.

So this might be a stupid question, but could someone refresh my memory on the best way to farm Battlecraft and Fieldcraft I & II? They can be used to progress in the latest Anima weapon stage, so they're relevant again. I was thinking of soloing dungeons for Battlecraft II, but I wonder if there's a relatively cheap NPC item I could mass buy instead. As for Fieldcraft I & II, there are probably a lot of options, but I'm not sure of the best one.

Fieldcraft 1 & 2
Any tool up to 45/49 for the I (yield 1 or 2)
Any ilevel 55 item for rank II -> best would aetheryte ring the old Bis Crafting ring

Battle craft 1 & 2
Same
Any weapon up to 46/49 for I
And pvp i55 weapon up (Wolf stuff)

That would be the easier i can come With

Thanks, just forgot what ilvls to look at. Aetheryte Ring sounds good for Fieldcraft II; 1 Rose Gold Nugget should be nothing nowadays. I'll browse NPC shops for Fieldcraft I and Battlecraft I items. I'm sure there's something reliable there. There might even be something for Battlecraft II without having to dip into Heavensward shops and their prices. Then again, the price of Battlecraft II hasn't risen at all on the market board for some reason. It's still equal to the NPC sell price, so I'll just buy it directly. I know the Demimateria option is most likely not a great route for getting Crystal Sand, but I'd expect at least a small effect on the price of Battlecraft II, just like there's been a small effect on the price of Battlecraft I and Fieldcraft I & II.

Hi there, I leveled my LTW desynth from 160-170 With the Serpentskin Halfgloves of Crafting. They don't give a lot of skill up so it's slow but they are easy to craft and only require 2 Amphiptere Leather and 1 Crawler Silk.
I am now Desynthing Pterodactyl Straps cause the mats are easy to farm and they give good skill ups. They desynth into I,II, and III FC Demimateria so far, low chance of getting dawnborn sand back as well.

The ilevel 55 pvp Wolf stuff is fairly cheap to craft and yield 1 to 2 battlecraft II

You shouldn't have to touch HW stuff for those
Everything is ARR with real cheap recipe
The only problem might be shard

The only big downfall i saw yesterday with aetheryte ring...
It require water cluster that might be a costy problem
(Hopefuly now the new aetherial réduction yield them a lot... just need to go and farm those)

Oh, you meant the crafted Wolf PVP gear. I was gonna say, I'm really not going to PVP again to farm Wolf Marks for this. I enjoyed PVP a little in ARR, but I've had my fill. But yeah, ilvl 55 obviously means crafted. I just forgot when I read your post.

I was originally going to avoid crafting for Battlecraft & Fieldcraft I because I thought it'd be a real pain, but when I think about it, I guess it would be much cheaper to simply buy materials in mass quantites and do Quick Synthesis after all. I mean, if you don't get the demimateria, then you can recycle what you get until you do get the demimateria.

I personally did / am fishing in Tharl Oom Khash with Giant Crane Fly. Very high chance of storm chaser (180 fish) which bites within 3 seconds of casting. If you have the tome for Dravania you can also get nyctosaur (210). Is a slow catch though. Ignore every tug that isn't "big fish".

Something's screwy with Aetheryte Rings. It could be bad luck, but I only got 2 Fieldcraft II out of about 18 rings. It could be because its material cost is so low. Anyway, Electrum Rings can be decent for Battlecraft I. Electrum Needles seem to be decent for Fieldcraft I, better than paying freaking 15K per on my server, and they can be bought from NPC for slightly under 5K.

does mastercraft demateria still comes from artisan spectles? cause i just desynthesis 17 and only got fieldcraft III

Yes the artisan tools and spectacles can give mastercraft demimateria. Good luck! I would suggest the tools they have better rates of drops. :D

I agree the tool are a better source for mastercraft
Since you're gsm, i would tell you to destroy some WVR i70 tool
The desynth rate is quite good

Can anyone tell me what the desynth skill caps are now?
Apparently they can go above 180 now. 200 Max?
And is there still a total cap, of 560 or higher now?

220 cap, 680 max.

Well I found out that those eso stuff can be desynthesis but have anybody desynthesis those stuff and what did they got i am so curious! I am not there yet but eventually i will so far there is a 5% still low but so excited to see what pops up

I did blue scrips gear with Tinker's Calm HQ and Bacon Broth HQ. You also make Gil if you sell the Glass Fiber drops.

Check the glamour gear that's raining from aquapolis, has to be cheaper than making those relic items due to the dawnborne aethersands. Thavnairian gear, expeditioner's, falconer's etc. And the thavnairian leather/silks and falconer's hemp individually to make em.
