And yet I'm fairly positive he once said that he didn't need anyone to defend him. I too lurked before I started posting here, and from what I've seen of Stormpeaks the only thing they actually do actively in FFXIV is housing. This I find on its own to be kinda funny, but it becomes even more so when you realize that it means they're absolutely shackled to FFXIV despite all the negative attitude they have towards it because otherwise they'd lose their house(s). It really is the sunk cost fallacy in action.

The chaos has always been more entertaining.

Feast was FOMO too. At least they've stated that they've a mind to bring back Malmstone rewards for Crystal Trophies down the line. That said, they really should give a more solid date on that. Not fond of the item enchantment thing they're thinking of now. It's like they realized the Feast way of handling things was far from ideal, stopped it for a few patches and then went "let's try it again." Admittedly, a particle effect is minor, but it's still something and it's probably just the start, unfortunately.
